Holiday rentals with a kayak in Africa

The villa is in a great location close to Turtle Bay and Konnos Beach. It is well equipped for families and my grandchildren loved the pool and the play area. Lambros, the owner was always available and keen to make our stay enjoyable.

This rental home is probably one of the most unique that we have ever experienced. Incredible natural beauty, gorgeous views, refreshing outdoor bathrooms, etc. Felt like we are in nature while having the luxuries of civilization. Truly a memorable stay. Dave and his crew are helpful and accommodating. If we ever get out to Tofo again, we would love to stay here for an even longer duration.

Such wonderful, generous hosts! I booked last minute and they were so communicative and even stocked the fridge full of treats which were all delicious. Thank you for the warmth and kindness!

10/10. Absolutely awesome location, wonderful units with lots of additional amenities and activities included (pool, bicycles, SUP boards, veggie garden, laundry, etc.), and an incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful team. We couldn’t recommend this more, and will be back as much as possible!

We had a great week at Carlos’ and Cynthia’s home. The flat is very well equipped and we had everything we needed. When we arrived Cynthia brought us some eggs and we were allowed to pick herbs from the garden. The view from the terrace is incredible.

We cannot fault anything! Honestly our very best stay - Adet was incredibly accommodating as we had a child from the UK with us travelling at a different time, we had small children with us- she just helped us all the time. Definitely our best air bnb

Every now and then you come across special places in the world, places you feel truly priveleged to be able to visit. This is one of them. It's a wonderful place to stay, it's a whole experience being there, both wild and rustic but also comfortable and set up just right. The cottage is perfect. A great space for two to share, cosy and decorated with a minimal but excellent taste, the kitchen has everything you need, be it for storing some snacks or more concerted cooking. (of, for example, delicious things you find at the nearby Sedgefield market). The area is wonderful to explore, jump in a kayak and go! And, sure, you can hear the traffic across the way, but at least in mu opinion, it just doesn't matter. Stay for as many nights as you can, you're going to want to. Tugela river lodge is the perfect blend of nature and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge!

What a fantastic villa, the location is superb with the villa located directly on the beach. We stayed end March / beginning April and very rarely saw anyone else on the beach. We were looking for a place to relax and unwind and this was perfect. The villa is private but had so much to keep my teen boys occupied - a massive very clean swimming pool, ping pong table, pool table, basketball court, football, dart board and kayaks. The weather was also good enough for swimming in the sea. The check in process was very easy and the villa had everything we needed. Zacharias was easily contactable if we needed anything. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

Surrounded by nature and serene landscapes, the setting offered a perfect backdrop for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. We genuinely loved everything about our stay. It exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to couples seeking a quiet, rejuvenating retreat in a beautiful, well-kept environment. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The Cottage at Wetlands exceeded my expectations. Everything was so perfect and was great attention to detail. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would definitely recommend staying there. I know I will be staying there again.

This surpassed our expectations. It's a very tranquil and beautiful spot; the river by the collage is stunning, and the host was extremely helpful when we got trapped in the mud. Whatever you do, stay a day longer. You will regret not staying longer.

Secondly, Die Boothuis was an exceptional experience - we loved the days spent. Our furry kids loved the environment, as we appreciated the tranquility. We'll be back in summer to explore the "cave". Perfect stay, highly recommend

Location 10/10. Felt like I was inside the Calm App - beautiful views and birds singing were so peaceful and relaxing. The patio was incredible to soak up the sun and bird watch during the day. Inside we found everything we needed in the full kitchen as well as an extensive spice rack. Bed was big and comfortable. Lighting was very cozy but could use an upgrade to brighten up the space a bit more at night. Michelle was helpful and responsive with great info and recommendations. Would stay again

Thanks to Aline for her kindness and availability. We really liked the cabin and its environment is peaceful. We loved the absolute calm. Maybe because the restaurant next door wasn't open yet. The bed is a little hard but you get used to it. The kids enjoyed sleeping upstairs, like a cabin in a cabin. A big plus is the communication with Aline. Nothing to complain about!!! Thanks

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Charl, Carla & Christa's place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home. Christa & Carla were incredibly responsive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin was so charming and well-maintained, and we particularly loved the tennis court, kitchen(my friend is a Chef ), the garden, the views. We can't thank Charl, Carla & Christa] enough for creating such a memorable experience. I had an awesome birthday. We would definitely recommend their place to anyone and hope to stay again soon
