Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Agios Mattheos

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Villa Kortilles und haben ein Haus angetroffen, das in Sichtweite zum Meer im ansteigenden Bergland liegt. Die Lage in Olivengärten vermittelt komfortable ländliche Idylle in völliger Ruhe. Alle Technik funktioniert zuverlässig und die Einrichtung vermittelt einen neuwertigen Eindruck. Beeindruckend ist auch die Architektur mit vielen Balkonen, und je nach Bedarf kann zwischen Sonnen-und Schattenseite gewechselt werden. Stamatis ist ein liebenswürdiger Gastgeber. Er bietet seine Hilfe permanent an und vermittelt eine private Einbindung. Erfreulich waren die Start-Befüllung des Kühlschranks und zwischen Gewürzen, Kaffeepulver, Teesorten, Dusch-und Pflegmitteln und Sonnenschirm ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Wir haben den Urlaub genossen und empfehlen Herr und Haus.

Una vacanza indimenticabile! L'alloggio è stupendo , curato nei minimi dettagli , pulito e dotato di tutti i confort.Gli spazi ampi e gli arredi ti danno la possibilità di vivere in 6 in maniera più che confortevole.Dal terrazzino si può godere di una vista mozzafiato e di albe e tramonti che ti resteranno sempre nel cuore. È stato come stare a casa. Il parcheggio privato poi non ha prezzo. Spiros e sua moglie due persone eccezionali a modo corretti e super disponibili. Ci hanno indicato le spiagge e i ristoranti dove vanno i locali e tutte le loro indicazioni si sono rilevate preziose.Raramente abbiamo trovato un alloggio così curato e degli host così amichevoli. Prima o poi torneremo a trovarli. Il prezzo è più che adeguato .Ve lo consigliamo vivamente!

The place exceeded our expectations, it’s even better than the photos. Very clean, just a 10minute walk to the old town, and you can literally dive into the sea right across the street. There are also plenty of parking spots, as well as food and coffee nearby, which was super convenient.

Danae is a wonderful host. The property is clean, as described, responses are all timely and she takes time to make some great local recommendations too!

Helena konaklamamızın ilk gününden itibaren sürekli bizimle ilgilendi hatta konaklama öncesinden bize o kadar detaylı her konuda yardımcı oldu ki elimizle koyduğumuz gibi evimizi bulabildik. Evin yolu acemi sürücüler için belki birazcık başlarda zorlu olabilir fakat alıştıktan sonra çok rahat bir şekilde girip çıkabilmeyi öğrendik. Evin güzelliği ile ilgili diyecek herhangi bir kelime bulamadığım için ya da yazacak herhangi bir kelime bulamadığım için muhteşem den başka bir şey Demeyeceğim. Hızlı cevapları ve ilgisinden dolayı ev sahibimiz Helena‘ya çok çok teşekkür ederiz. Eğer Cennet’i merak ediyorsanız bu evde kalıp manzaraya doğru bakabilirsiniz.

Die Lage des Hauses sowie die Aussicht vom Pool bzw. der Terrasse ist atemberaubend und nicht in Worte zu fassen. Hier kann man wirklich einige Stunden verbringen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Die Anfahrt hat auch dank der guten Beschreibung von Claudia gut funktioniert. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war von Anfang bis zum Ende wirklich großartig. Sie hat direkt auf unsere Nachfragen geantwortet und sich gut um uns gekümmert. Herausheben möchte ich, dass der Pool äußerst sauber war. Das Haus natürlich ebenso. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und die zwei en suite Badezimmer runden es perfekt ab. Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub dort verbracht und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen 😍

Exceptionel house and location; inside very cosy ( for colder evenings) and outside beautiful pool, terrace and garden. Everything you need in the kitchen, really a family home. Loutsia is amazing in assisting and easy reachable. We certainly want to come back!

Η διαμονή μας ήταν πραγματικά υπέροχη! Ο χώρος ήταν καθαρός, άνετος και πλήρως εξοπλισμένος, ακριβώς όπως στις φωτογραφίες. Η τοποθεσία ήταν ιδανική, ήσυχη αλλά ταυτόχρονα κοντά σε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν άψογος – ευγενικός, φιλικός και πάντα διαθέσιμος για οποιαδήποτε απορία ή βοήθεια. Έκανε τα πάντα για να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Τον ευχαριστούμε θερμά και σίγουρα θα ξανακλείσουμε στο μέλλον. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

Super nice apartment very near the beach and town facilities in Agios Gordios. Very helpful and responsive hosts going out of their way to help us. Great facilities and really nice authentic Greek interiors that of the apartment. Highly recommended.

Erotokritos’ house is an absolute gem in the heart of Corfu. A 30 min drive to Corfu Town and a 20 min walk to the beach, this beautiful and thoroughly well thought-out apartment is a private haven in the heart of a bustling and gorgeous island. The flat is clean and tastefully designed to compliment the unique and magnificent views. Erotokritos is a brilliant host, allowing us to check in early and providing tonnes of local recommendations once we arrived. He even surprised us one morning with food from a local bakery, which really made the trip. If I could give ten stars then I would! Thank you so much, will be staying again and recommending to many people.

We had such a wonderful week in Corfu! The accommodation is so spacious and the pool is a massive plus! The late night swim was one of our favourite parts of the trip with such great scenic views including the airport runway. A car is probably recommended if you want to get around the island on your own accord, but the busses are frequent and easy to use if you don’t mind walking up/down the hills which is what we did. There are coaches to further beaches which don’t come up on google maps which A tip: save the chapel by the gates as a location on google maps to direct taxis in the evening. Effy is such a wonderful host and so accommodating, she really doesn’t need to go the extra mile as she does but it’s greatly appreciated. She insisted on picking us up and taking us to the airport, and to the bus stops too if she was around. She’s so helpful with recommendations too of where to go as we didn’t really have a plan. We’d definitely recommend staying here to friends.

We’ve had an amazing stay here. The house and location was even more beautiful in person, compared to the pictures. The host was amazing in every way.

Inge und Reinhart sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und ihre Tipps für die Erkundung der Gegend waren sehr wertvoll. Die einzigartige Aussicht und die ruhige Lage haben uns aus der Seele gesprochen. Ein Paradies wie es im Buche steht.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

Eleni was an incredible host who provided us with helpful information, excellent recommendations and plenty of flexibility throughout our entire trip. We stayed for three weeks in her beautiful villa and it could not have been more perfect, the amenities alongside Eleni’s wonderful hosting allowed us to experience an unforgettable stay and memories that will last a lifetime!

The house, grounds & garden, parking, pool are all spectacular. The beds are extremely comfortable. The air conditioning is cold. Bathrooms like the rest of the house are large which is sometimes hard to find in Greece. It is not beachfront to me as there is a road & hotel which separates the house from the beach. The restaurant next to the house was our favorite place to eat. Bus stop is conveniently right in front of the house. Unless you are used to driving in Greece you do not want to drive. $30 euro taxi drive to old town Corfu is what we paid. Vicky the house manager greeted us upon arrival & we had some wine & food we greatly appreciated.

Somos muy afortunados por haber podido disfrutar de la casa de Maria. Sus vistas son más espectaculares que en las fotos donde no se puede apreciar toda su magnitud. La casa muy acogedora, no le falta nada, está totalmente equipada y muy limpia. El aire acondicionado en todas las estancias es maravilloso con el calor de agosto. Una casa muy espaciosa que resulta incluso más cómoda y acogedora en real que en las fotos. En frente tiene una panadería donde hemos desayunado, hemos comprado pan todos los días, hemos hecho la compra básica diaria,… muy cómodo. María siempre ha estado atenta a cualquier necesidad o duda que nos pudiera surgir y contesta muy rápido los mensajes. El pueblo de Lakones es para mí una de las mejores ubicaciones de Corfu, aunque se necesita coche 100%. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo nuestra estancia.

Very nice house , super clean, very good beds and crisp clean sheets.very well equiped kitchen and a view we did not expect… it seemed like a new house and we were the first to enter. On top of that also an amazing host Christos who was very flexible and reactief super Swift on all our “turi questions”…. In short a no brainer and well worth the money spent…

Christo a été un hôte parfait : il a été extrêmement proactif lors de notre arrivée puisqu’il est venu nous chercher à l’aéroport pour nous guider jusqu’à la villa où il nous avait laissé un panier repas en guise de cadeau de bienvenue. Il a toujours été extrêmement réactif au moindre souci que nous avons pu rencontrer, nous a fait des recommandations d’activité ou de restaurant tout à long du séjour… S’agissant de la villa, elle a satisfait à toutes nos demandes et même au delà : spacieuse et décorée avec gout, la piscine était extrêmement belle, les chambres bien rangées, les salles de bain et la cuisine très propres… La vue était imprenable, l’endroit était calme et paisible, tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un excellent moment sans déranger le voisinage qui est pratiquement inexistant. Je recommande donc largement de séjourner dans cette villa où tout autre logement qui serait géré par cet hôte. Encore merci pour tout Christo, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable grâce à toi !

Wir haben mit 10 Leuten Urlaub in der Villa gemacht und waren allesamt überrascht und geradezu sprachlos, wie sauber, schön und gut gelegen die Villa ist. Wir haben sehr viel Zeit im Pool und Jacuzzi verbracht und die Sitzgelegenheiten im Außenbereich haben es uns ermöglicht Nächte lang Spiele zu spielen und zu Grillen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und sehr angenehm zu benutzen. Die Betten und Bäder sind wie in einem 5-Sterne Hotel und haben alle eine schöne Aussicht und gute Ausstattung. Zudem haben wir uns riesig über die ganzen netten Extras gefreut: Gratis Wlan, ein voller Kühlschrank, ein volles Regal mit leckerem Wein und eine große Essensbestellung als Geschenk. Nicht nur das Haus selbst sondern auch die Austattung, die Lage und die Gastgeberin waren einfach atemberaubend. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt!!

5 stars We stayed at Villa Sunset Bliss from May 24 to June 1 and had a fantastic time. This luxury 2-bed villa has an infinity pool, stunning mountain views, and total privacy. Inside, everything is top-quality: Miele appliances, Weber BBQ, fast Wi-Fi, and a stylish outdoor space. Thoughtful welcome touches (fruit, ham, cheese, bread, water) were much appreciated. The villa was spotless, and the laundry facilities meant we could have packed lighter. It’s peaceful, but a car is essential due to steep, narrow roads — fine for confident drivers. Communication before arrival was excellent, with detailed directions, but we waited 45 mins to get in, and the jacuzzi jets issue wasn’t addressed. Minor maintenance needed on umbrellas and the entrance gate. Beds were fine — I’d have liked a duvet, but that’s personal. Despite a few glitches, the villa’s quality, setting, and value are superb. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to couples or families seeking a tranquil, luxury escape
