Drakos Retreat Kea

DimitrisRating, 5 stars9 months ago
How should I start... The place is located in the authentic side of Kea, the east side of the island. It was super peaceful and you have all the privacy you need, while being close to a tavern and a mini market. The garden outside, actually it's not just a garden, it's a huge piece of land, with many places to sit and relax, was so beautiful that we wanted to spend all our time there! At night, you could hear all the sounds of nature and look at the stars, while enjoying the amazing patio with a glass of wine! You need a car to go to the beach, but, that's the point! Be able to visit all the amazing beaches in the east side of the island, which are located between 10-20 minutes drive (a super normal distance for Kea). The house was very clean and it had all the amenities needed. The host was super responsive with a couple of requests we had. I strongly recommend this house and we will visit it again soon!

House in Ioulis, Kea, Cyclades

AnastasiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A beautiful traditional house, in the center of Ioulida, ideal for a family with children (over 3-4 years old, due to the internal stairs). Great views, all thoughtful and stylish. Thank you very much!

Charming Guesthouse with private pool

DouglasRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We stayed 10 days at Vlassis and Celia’s lovely little apartment and found everything we needed in the apartment. Vlassis met us at the port to take us the apartment (Google maps doesn’t work here-Apple maps is better, but as Celia says follow the signs!) We were given loads of great advice about where to visit (you’ll need a car to get around Kea) and saw loads of lovely coves and beaches. The Loulis has a number of good restaurants and the walk is about 15 minutes to them, although you might want to let your food go down before heading back up the hill! Our hosts were super accommodating even letting me borrow a vacuum cleaner to clean sand out of the boot of our hire car. The apartment is very well appointed and even had a cool bag and freezer blocks for trips to the beach. The attention to detail is fantastic. We’d highly recommend staying here.

VILLA OLIVA | Kea, your escape in cycladic nature

SamantaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We enjoyed every second of the breath-taking views and tranquillity in Villa Olivis, the perfect place to decompress. The location is immaculate as this part of the island is full of olive trees and small farms, more lush in vegetation than the port side, and only a few minutes from the pretty village of Loulida and the beautiful secluded beaches of Sykamia, Kalidonychi and Spathi . This place is perfect for anyone looking to relax with friends or family, the layout of the villa is great as all bedrooms feel private, whilst the common areas are open planned. The house itself is clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped for families and friends’ holidays, and has lots of outside space, which we loved. We really appreciated the warm and precise communication; the host is professional and very friendly at the same time!

We spent 3 days in Myrto’s place that in relaxation time felt like weeks! The location is unique, very convenient for exploring the island. House is fully equipped with what we needed and Myrto kindly cared to make our stay even better for our 2 years kid. Definitely will revisit soon!

Greta place to stay in Kea. The only issue was not very comfortable bed that is a bit too short for taller people.

Psili Ammos Beach House, Seafront, Amazing views

Guido MarioRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We stayed at this beautiful villa for two weeks. The location is really spectacular, far (but not too far) from the busiest area of the island, with a beautiful view of the bay of Psili from where you could also see the island of Andros. The villa is really nice, well furnished, with ample outdoor spaces where you can relax on special deck chairs and wall sofas with comfortable pillows. The rooms were spacious as well as the bathrooms, also nice the living area with the attached kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook. The priceless thing that made the vacation super relaxing, is the nearby beach that can be reached through a small path that takes about 5 minutes on foot. There is almost no one and therefore there is absolute peace of mind that you do not want to go in search of other beaches (still beautiful, but more crowded). Thank you to Robert and Sophia for all the valuable recommendations on restaurants and more. We'll see you soon: -))

Mili's House with private swimming pool, sea view

GaryRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place is unbelievably beautiful. The view is stunning, the surroundings peaceful, and the house very comfortable. Kea is magical with great food, amazing sites, and pristine beaches. We swam in the pool, walked the goat paths, admired the architecture and just relaxed. You'll probably need a vehicle to get the most from your experience, but it's worth every penny.
