The space is comfortable and welcoming with a modern and well-kept decoration. Relax in this unique and quiet getaway and recharge batteries away from the city bustle. This accommodation is not suitable for receiving children, the situation should be reported to me.

The unique pool, framed by magnificent trees, offers breathtaking views of the Douro Valley. Embrace the romance at Javalina with heartfelt conversations, a good book or a game night over a cup of tea, all in our snug, inviting interior.

Eira Velha House

Small rural stone house restored with private garden and parking, offers tranquillity and a stunning view to Serra da Freita and Frecha da Mizarela waterfall. Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

Casa Canela apartment and pool.

A 40m2 self-contained apartment on the ground floor of a traditional stone built farmhouse in a tranquil rural location. The apartment features a bedroom/living room with king side bed, sofa, smart TV, built in wardrobe, and dining table. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a wet-room and decked terrace with parasol and outdoor dining table. From May to October guests have use of a 6m x 3.75m pool and sun deck shared with the host who lives on site and guests in one other 2 person accommodation.

Barbecue available. 5-minute walk to Granja Beach, 7-minute walk to Granja Train Station. 15 minutes from Porto. 5 minutes from Espinho. 3-minute walk to Lidl supermarket. Rest area, no noise.

Enjoy a stay in our garden hut—a simple, minimalist space with WiFi (optional) and electricity via an extension cable. Perfect for a quiet getaway or as a digital workspace. Our house is on the same property, with two more guest rooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom, and a dry composting toilet in the garden. We provide a mosquito net in summer and an electric heater in winter.
