A 17th century house, the Altxua house (Aulnaie in Basque) was renovated in 2006 and offers an independent upstairs apartment with its private terrace (with barbecue). It is a short walk from the village of Ascain and all shops (800 m), 10 minutes from the sea and its beaches, golf courses and is the starting point for many hiking trails including the one leading to the Rhune. In summary: a quiet, relaxing place but close to all the points of interest of the Basque Country.

Perched on stilts at more than 3m,surrounded by trees in a lush garden, the cabin is fully equipped so you can enjoy great comfort in the heart of nature. The fully equipped summer kitchen is under the hut. You will wake up to the sound of birds. OPTION: payable on site (no credit card): Nordic bath €40 (or €50 with 2 bathrobes). You can also enjoy a pleasant sunny terrace. A bus stop is 20 meters from the house, where line 13 passes which serves the beaches of Anglet and line 7 which serves Bayonne train station.
