House holiday rentals in Aigues-Vives

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

The location was 15 minutes drive from Arles town centre. The Loft was clean on arrival and the host provided all necessary utensils, linen, towels and a "starter kit" (eg. toilet paper, soap, shampoo, BBQ charcoal and lighter, etc). Access to the Loft was timely and by security Key Code, making it flexible to enter on late arrival. Pool and gardens were well maintained. Baby cot and high-chair were supplied. Florence, our concierge, was very helpful and proactive in answering all our questions in advance. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear and timely.

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

We stayed at the property for 13 days. We felt comfortable right away, the house is super nice and everything you need is there. Great garden with a nice pool. We can fully recommend the cottage.

We LOVED our stay in Avignon! The location is absolutely perfect. The home is large enough to host a big family, the pool was a special beloved feature of our children. Robin bought us groceries ahead of time and the amazing Rosè wine available was delicious. A perfect stay! We fell in love with Avignon.

Our stay at Ludovic’s home was absolutely wonderful. The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we could possibly need—and more. It was peaceful, thoughtfully designed, and full of heart. We especially loved the rich history of the home and how it had been in Ludovic’s family for generations; it added such a meaningful and authentic touch to our experience. Ludovic was incredibly gracious with his time, offering quick and helpful responses throughout our stay. I’ve truly never stayed anywhere that felt so much like home. Leaving was harder than I expected… I think a little piece of my heart stayed behind. Thank you again for your warm hospitality. We hope to return someday.

Very welcoming, friendly and attentive hosts. Nelson, an adorable golden retriever. The pool is really a plus. Very quiet and very cozy place. The sharing platter they offer is a treat, as well as the homemade olive oil. We recommend this address. We'll be back.

We are very happy with our week in the cottage. The place was quiet at this time of year, the small terrace, the pool, the flowery environment, it was super nice.

Great property! We stayed here with our three dogs for a week. The house and backyard are great. The house is very clean and has a lot of modern touches like multiple air conditioning units, a refrigerator with an ice machine and water filter, large smart tv, and modern finishings. The place is very clean and well decorated. However the real star of the property is the backyard. It feels like an oasis in the city - the patio, yard, and pool are very well landscaped and a great place to relax. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard where we could hang out and enjoy the nice weather. The host was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to take our dogs. She also left us a dog bowl, toys, and bags which was very thoughtful (and some local beers for us, which was also very nice). The property is about a 15 minute walk to city center and the train station where you can find a lot of great restaurants and bars. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.

I spent a week in this little house and my stay was perfect - the setting is beautiful, the rental corresponds in every way to what is presented to us (it's clean, tidy, but not impersonal either). The garden is unforgettable. The hosts are lovely and generous, they absolutely deserve all the compliments they receive!

We had a pleasant weekend. The villa was amazing, modern and well-equipped. For the outside, it is the same with a large swimming pool that allows you to cool off, especially in hot weather. A little afraid of the opposite at the beginning especially at the level of the garden with the neighbors but finally everything went very well because the neighborhood is very discreet and 0 noise. Julie is very responsive and welcoming because there were a lot of products and equipment available for our stay. I highly recommend this accommodation to people who want to be in a quiet place not too far from Nimes.

This place is beautiful and is set in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it wasn't very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood burning stove that we had to provide with wood throughout our stay in order to warm up the space and chase humidity. But this stay was a unique experience.

wow is all I can say. everything was perfect. the house, the grounds, the location, the host. all amazing. you honestly feel like your family has its own private chateau. it was perfect driving distance to explore provence. all the major cities not too far away. the host was amazing to communicate with. met him a few times. great guy and really cares for the home. the grounds included a cherry and apricot orchard. we were lucky enough to be there when both were ripe. the house was equipped with everything you need for your stay. all in all I would say you really can't find anything better for your family stay. the only downside is, you don't want to leave. :)

We had a wonderful week at Villa Lou Simbèu! The Villa is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The exterior is a true haven of peace. The little extra? A state-of-the-art barbecue for unforgettable grilling evenings! The garden is safe for our canine friends. The location is ideal for exploring the region: close to Nîmes and Aigues-Mortes. Langlade is surrounded by gems to discover. For foodies, we were warmly recommended the restaurant Chez Monique in Calvisson (10 minutes from the Villa) but it was full during our stay. Remember to book! Finally, a huge thank you to Kate and David, exceptional hosts! Their advice is invaluable, whether for visits or for your purchases of honey and olive oil. We even had the privilege of visiting David's apricot, pomegranate and olive farm, a unique experience. We recommend Villa Lou Simbèu with our eyes closed for a successful vacation!

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x
