Built in 1750,and Grade II Listed it is set in seven acres, with mature and well laid gardens, which take advantage of the views over the Esk Valley and River Esk. The rental is for the East Wing of the house with its own front door. Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!

Our Treetops cabin is a woodland room, en-suite with a stunning outdoor space and fire pit, views through the trees, and sounds of nature all around. Treetops is one of three cabins set in 4 acres of woodland. Individually designed and centrally heated, Treetops has a double bed, a shower room, a dining/seating area. We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a gas barbecue with gas ring on the porch.
