One Night in the Desert of Zagora on BB

Very nice tent stay in the desert near Zagora. The tents are 15 minutes away from Zagora and the trip can be made by car or by camel. The dinner served was a delicious tajine and a breakfast was served in the morning. The camel ride is a great addition as well.

It was a true family-like experience. From the first day, Khalid's family accepted me not as a guest. I played with kids, helped with farm work, ate together, and slept together. Although Khalid was away for work, he was always reachable by message and told me many things about local life. If you are interested in the environment and the life near a desert, definately recommended!

We had a great stay in the very nicely restored Kasbah. You actually stay here in a museum, which of course also brings restrictions such as lack of daylight in the rooms. However, this was known to us and reinforces the special overnight experience. Very great house! In addition, a large, quiet roof terrace with a great view and nice landlords. Also in the village we met some really very friendly people, somehow everyone seems to know everyone here. Highly recommend for one night!

naciri's place is very clean and comfortable. super comfortable bed. a very nice central garden. the dishes eaten there are delicious. the accommodation is located in front of the Zaouia Naciria, the oldest and most famous Islamic center in the Draa Valley. Host was very kind and helpful. she gave us a lot of local tips. if you come to this area you absolutely have to come from Naciri.

we arrived late and left early to get to Mhamid so we only got a brief sense of the place, but it's beautifully situated in the Palm groves just outside Zagora. we ate and really liked the food. the room was great.
