A high ceiling with a skylight, a large wooden deck, a living room with a wood stove and a relaxing sofa, and a tatami mat room that extends from the living room welcome you. The tatami mat room is a room with a view of Mt. Iwaki from the window, which everyone wants. The entire house has been renovated and is equipped with WiFi for a comfortable stay. The 2,000-tsubo property and log house are private spaces for guests only during your stay. The log house is located a little off the road, like a hideaway. This is an old thatched house built in 143 years ago. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).
