Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Akaroa Harbour

This was my second time at the cabin, just as peaceful as the first! Gorgeous spot in Banks Peninsula, great access to two amazing tracks (on the same road as the cabin!). This time I did monument track south, over to Rod Donald hut - 5 hour round trip, absolute perfection! Thank you for the breakfast provisions, perfect hiking preparation!

We enjoyed staying in William's house. It was spacious, comfortable and had a great view over Lyttelton Harbour It was well located for walks and shops/ cafes

A lovely, cosy home. spotlessly clean, with all the amenities you might need. Only a short drive to Diamond Head for convenient shops and takeaways, as well as a picturesque ferry ride across the harbour to Lyttleton. A lovely spot!

Fantastic and cosy place, just a stroll up the hill from town. Plenty of space to hang out inside and out (the deck is huge!).

Super close to Akaroa Cook School. Handy location to other local amenities. Clean, warm and tidy, comfy beds. We had a great few days. Thank you. Recommend.

We loved our stay at The Little Blue Cottage. It’s in a gorgeous garden setting with abundant birdlife. Inside is spacious, oozing stylish comfort. Great bathroom, comfortable bed with lovely linen sheets, and a well-designed kitchen with quality equipment. It had turned a bit chilly when we arrived in Akaroa, so the wood burner was much appreciated! Would love to stay again in this inviting and peaceful cottage.

Absolutely loved our two week stay. Once you have your luggage down, the stairs aren't bad (my partner actually used them as a workout each day running up them). Like everything amazing, you often need to work a little hard for it and this view is worth every step. Watching the weather roll in from sunny to stormy days was a dream. There is a convenient and well stocked supermarket just down the road and our new favourite Soulful Coffee for the best smoothies and hot drinks. Take a book and unplug, its simply the most relaxing place to look out to.

Great three day stay at John’s place. So convenient for walking into town, and the parking space is a real bonus in that location. Apartment was spotless, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend this place for a city stay.

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

A lovely apartment, great location and Jackie had excellent communication. She even let us know that the apartment was ready early so we could check in sooner, which was a big help.

Absolutely beautiful place with the most spectacular views. We really enjoyed being able to relax in the nice warm spa overlooking the scenery with a glass of shampaz.

We had a fantastic 3 nights enjoying the views and character of Julie's place, very friendly with lots of locals tips and would definitely like to revisit with the family !

Great place to stay, exactly as advertised and a great location in the CBD. The unit was easy to find, very clean and warm. Hosts were fantastic, very responsive to messages. I would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay close to the city in Chch. Will definitely be back! Thanks for the great stay 🙂

Beautiful setting, absolutely loved looking down at the ducks along the river. The auotmatic blinds and heated bathroom floor were lovely touches. It felt very homey while still being luxe. Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful and thoughtfully designed apartment, right down to the smaller detail (fresh flowers, bath sheets, lots of coat hangers, bed side lamps and USB chargers!). Centrally located, quiet, apartment - exactly what we needed for our long weekend in Chch.

We loved the location and the quality of the modern, spacious accommodation. Very comfortable modern lounge room and great TV for whe. you just want a night in. Convenient parking and a near city walkable location. We would definitely come back to this booking when we return to Christchurch. Only small lont is that the only bathroom (toilets) are upstairs, otherwise perfect!

It was a great start to our family vacation in NZ. Amy’s place is cosy, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy and with hotel quality linen…plus bakery and coffee shop downstairs, it definitely helps to start the day on the right foot. It is also located opposite Holey Moley - the mini -golf venue. We had so much fun with our 8 yo boy there:-) Thank you for a lovely stay, Amy. We also appreciate you allowed us to check in early in the morning on this occasion.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan’s! The house was spacious and adequately equipped. It was also very well located as it’s a very short drive and probably about 10-15min walk to the central city! Susan was also a great host — she’s very quick to respond to our queries, gave clear and easy instructions for checking in/out, and overall made our stay very enjoyable!

Really handy location and easy walking distance into the CBD. The garden/outdoor area could use a bit of a spruce up to make it useable but the place was otherwise was great and fulfilled our needs 😊

The perfect central Christchurch spot. walking distance to amazing eateries and bars, Harley Park, the Arts Center, the hospital...yet all peaceful and quiet.
