In a Faluröd log cabin on a farm, you will have the opportunity to experience the best Dalarna can offer. In the heart of Siljansnäs you will find this small farm cottage with room for three people. The cottage was renovated 2023, the bathroom 2018. Within walking distance there is a kiosk and grocery store as well as a little further up the village there is a cafe, hotel and mini golf. 200 meters from the front door is Byrviken, an excellent swimming area. Within a 20 minute drive there is also Tegera Arena, Granberget's ski slope and cross-country skiing.

In beautiful quiet Åkerö village in Leksand is located family friendly accommodation, the cottage. The village is located opposite the center of Leksand on the other side of the river. You live near Siljan with walking distance to Ejendals Arena, Solvenda (boardwalk), swimming, shopping center. Summerland is about 4 Km away. In addition, from the shopping center, buses go to summerland. Walking distance to bus stop to Dalhalla. Granberget's slalom slope and cross-country ski trail is located about 15 min by car. Tomteland is about 30 minutes by car.

Vi hyr ut nedervåningen på vårt gästhus som står i vår trädgård. Huset är utrustat med golvvärme, kök, badrum med dusch och tvättmaskin. Huset ligger på lugna Åkerö, centralt i Leksand. Nära till Siljan (10 minuters promenad), affärer i centrum (max 5 minuter med cykel). Det är även nära till vandringsleder, skidspår samt skog och mark. Granbergets slalombacke en mil bort. Tegera Arena för den ishockeyintresserade, 2 km bort. Bil kan parkeras precis intill gästhuset. Cyklar finns att låna.

The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.
