My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with one teenager A beautiful backyard studio on a singles house property. It has everything you need! The studio is spacious, clean, cozy and easily to sleep 1-3 people. It has TV, cooktop, dining countertop, fridge, microwave, coffee maker The neighborhood: The property is located in the Rudgear Park neighborhood. There are trails, public basketball courts, tennis courts and baseball field. Getting around: Easy access to Highway 680 and 24. Walking distance to downtown walnut creek to many shops and restaurants. Guest Access: Guest enter their studio from side fence gate so they come and go as they please. Interaction with Guest: We can be reached by texts and available to our guests if there is any problem. Other things to Note: the studio is on the back of the property behind the main house. You will need to climb a few stairs which are well lit. Small friendly pets live on this property. 1 night minimum.

Our typical guest has grandkids or children that live in our area, is in town for work or is traveling from just about anywhere in the world. Guests have said they like being close to SF at a very reasonable price. We're a family home so you can hear our family when we are in the kitchen. The Sweet Suite is behind our kitchen. Our kids have grown up doing Airbnb so they work to be as quiet as they can when guests are in the Sweet Suite. There is no doubt you will hear us at some point.

San Francisco is a 25 minute train ride and when there is no traffic a quick 30 minute drive to downtown SF (with traffic add another 15-20 minutes). CAL or St. Mary's College bound? Really enjoyed staying at Mally's place! The location was ideal for exploring the nearby sights like the great local cafes. At the same time, it was private enough where you could recharge peacefully. The space was clean and I found the working table super useful for my planning sessions during my stay. The garden gave a calm, peaceful vibe and I loved how the windows opened right outward to them and let in all that fresh air. I'd recommend this as a home base if you're planning to be in the East Bay!

Great location and very comfortable space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils to make cooking easy. There's a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit, if you have a tall or long vehicle like a truck it might not fit in the spot and there are limited uncovered spaces to park. The AC is in the living room and doesn't get back to the bedroom very well which isn't a problem unless it's a really hot day. There was one day that was 90°F and the bedroom didn't cool off. The living room and couch are comfortable and a nice spot to unwind.

I cannot say enough about how spectacular Abel’s place is. The casita was immaculately clean and the pictures do not do it justice. Everything from the furniture to the appliances are of very high quality and it is very clear that Abel put a lot of thought into making the space an extension of his home. He was very responsive and accommodating the entire time as well. If you’re on the fence about where to stay when visiting the area, I hope this post helps you make the right decision.

Location! Location! We came to Oakland for a wedding in Moraga last minute and just happened to choose this area without knowing anything and we were so surprised at how cute the neighborhood is! There are plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. Danville is a great place to stay. The guesthouse is small… but if you are just looking for a clean and quiet place to lay your head down at night, this place will do the job. Our hosts were in constant communication and were very sweet. Overall a great stay!
