The property is just as shown in the photos—beautifully located by the lakeside. It was quite clean overall, though a few areas could use a bit of maintenance. Mr. Aneesh, the property manager, was very helpful and quick to respond to all our needs. It would be even better if the food menu included more local cuisine options.

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . A truly special experience made better by Deepu and his family whims on.

I'd booked the place for my friends to stay for my engagement function. Everything was amazing and the house was also pretty great! The management took care of all concerns we had and it was an amazing stay.

We had an amazing time staying at this property. Everything was well organised and we had a dedicated caretaker who was very responsive and made our stay comfortable. I would recommend this place any day if you want to have a chill vacation away from the hustle bustle of city life ❤️

It was great stay overall. The place was exactly like the pictures. We had a amazing stay. The stay was totally private. There are helpers in the next compound. The view is totally amazing and the pool was cleaned daily. The cleaner helped a lot. if you prefer cooking they have utensils. Limited restaurant choice if you prefer to order food. Perfect for both family and group. We had a great time and recommend everyone to try this place.

It was great house and we enjoyed the stay

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

The stay was awesome, The place was perfect, The host - too good!! Anyone who wants to stay in Kochi and move around in the city, this place in Kakkanad is just ideal and nice for short and long stay. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The kitchen has all the required utensils for a family that is looking to eat home cooked meals. The bathrooms are neat and spotless. One of the best places we as a family have stayed. Great stay at Terrace House! Took 3 bedrooms, the room with balcony is absolutely beautiful. The whole place was neat and clean and filled with thoughtful items like napkins, medicine, guides to local spots. The WiFi was great too. The location is great. Uncle was very helpful and proactive. Would highly recommend staying here, will definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing stay at Jacob’s Inn for 2 weeks. Anisha was a very friendly and helpful host and provided clear instructions on what to do regarding check-in and other amenities. The place has towels and kitchen amenities which was very useful. All bedrooms had a good space and looked exactly like the pictures. All rooms have A/C and fans too which is a perfect bonus. Will gladly come stay here again. 10/10 would recommend if you are on holiday here with family for a week or so as it is close to the metro station, easily accessible and has many restaurants/services around it.

Beautiful property. The beach is very close to the property and you can really enjoy a private time there with your family. Shamil was really helpful and responsive. He arranged an early checkin for us and was throughout very responsive to all the queries. The caretaker Varghese was very sweet and helpful and arranged whatever we needed during the stay. The nearby restaurants also delivers to the location and Swiggy was also available. Would recommend this if you need to live by beach side and want to have a peaceful time.

It’s a beautiful villa right near the highways which made sightseeing much easier. And it was so spacious we couldn’t find time to explore everything within the house. There are less restaurants nearby on Swiggy but still we can order food. Local attractions like boating, beach and railway station are all 10-15 mins away. Host is responsive and within a call away when needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional Kerala house! Our group of friends found the home beautifully maintained, with three spacious AC bedrooms and large, clean bathrooms that made our stay very comfortable. The fully functional kitchen was a big plus. Although the house is located right on the highway, the large compound provided complete privacy and a peaceful environment. One of our favorite spots was the cozy patio in the backyard, shaded by a huge jackfruit tree — perfect for relaxing in the evenings. For the price, this place is honestly the best deal you could find. A special thanks to our host, Romy, who made sure our experience was absolutely perfect and hassle-free. Less than one hour drive from cochin. A lap pool would be a perfect addition.

I'd visited Dileep's property with my parents for our vacation. The place was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The area is well connected, offering guests privacy and a backwater view. The property is well-connected, with restaurants nearby. Our Uber was able to find us easily without any added instructions from our end. The place was clean, quiet, and worth a visit!

A lovely self-contained apartment, very close to attractions and restaurants in Fort Kochi. Sunil and Susan are very nice, quick to answer any questions and really friendly. Apartment is compact with a separate bedroom, small kitchen and great balcony to sit and relax on. Good for one person long-term or a couple for a week or so in my opinion. Free breakfast provided by Sunil and Susan was a lovely touch and the icing on the cake of a great stay.

We were a family group and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manu's Villa. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the famous Sree Krishna temple and a Devi temple in Thiruvarppu. Walking to the temple at dawn was a truly divine and calming experience. Thiruvarppu itself is a charming village, peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The villa itself was very clean—the rooms, linens, bathrooms, and kitchen were all very well maintained. The villa felt like a true home away from home. Manu was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always just a phone call away. His warm hospitality made us feel well taken care of. We are definitely planning to make this our regular spot whenever we visit again. For longer stays, it would be great to have a caretaker drop by daily to clean, but that’s just a suggestion to make an already wonderful place even better. Overall, it was an exceptional stay that exceeded our expectations. Looking forward to our next visit.
