Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Alaska

Amazing stay! I loved how close it was to everything and the view from my room was gorgeous! If you’re going to the spa or resort area and not trying to spend a hefty penny for overnight stays, I’d recommend staying here! However, it is quite a small space so I’d only recommend it for solo travelers or couples! Definitely go to Jack Spratts (recommendation from the locals at the spa)! The Alaska Man burger was deliciousssss

Mary had been responsive and was very friendly even when we arrived late evening. They made delicious breakfast for us for 2 consecutive days which was helpful. Being close to hatcher pass and matanuska served us quite well as well. I would highly recommend Mary’s B&B for your stay in the area!

Can't say enough about the Red Cabin B&B! We stayed in the smaller annex which was everything we needed. The location is just perfect, remote yet close to Kenai and Soldatna and all the area offers, a great home base while in the area. John and Jacquie are wonderful hosts, eager to share their love and extensive knowledge of the area. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with fresh fruit, coffee, and plenty of breakfast food. The welcoming committee, Lola, Sandy and three horses was a happy surprise! A great place to stay in this area, hope to return some day.

Mary K and Steve are extraordinary hosts! From the impeccably clean kitchen, to the very comfortable beds, the top quality stay exceeded the quality of any other Air BnB I have stayed at. The wild blueberry and salmonberry waffles that Mary K prepared were the best ever, after a restful nights sleep in the warm bedroom. As hosts, you couldn’t ask for a better couple than Mary K and Steve. They are fully knowledgeable about their local surroundings, and a joy to converse with. The full kitchen allowed us to prepare our three meals we brought up with us to Yakutat. We were able to grill tri-tip and an asparagus dinner with a fine Pinot we bought at the local wine shop. Second evening, we had brats. All were prepared on their outdoor grill. Third night was fresh silver fillets from the river also grilled on their grill. Sat on the back porch enjoying the most peaceful neighborhood. We cannot wait to book again! Thank you for the respite from the stressful city life back home.

We've stayed with Martin and Kathy multiple times, and it's always been a wonderful experience. They are the consummate hosts, doing everything they can to make you feel at home. We've brought friends and family in the past, and this trip was for our 14-year old grandson. He LOVED the visit, seeing the dogs, learning about the Iditarod, etc. This is the perfect place to stay for people of ANY age. It's also a great starting point for adventures in the MatSu area or on the way to Denali. All in all, it's a lovely, clean home with the added bonus of being in a dog yard. Hard to beat this for a true Alaska experience!

The Vue, East Room, was absolutely wonderful! It was immaculately clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was huge and also immaculate with plenty of seating, all sorts of food and beverage options, and a beautiful, bright atmosphere. We highly recommend The Vue. It's one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Thank you, Ristine!

5 star Our stay was terrific! We found the stay lovely in so many ways: we had a lovely room, our breakfast was homemade and delicious, our every possible need was taken care of, and when the unexpected happened (a 7.2 earthquake farther away) and the tsunami siren alarmed- we were in the safe zone so we did not have to evacuate in the middle of the night. Thank you for everything! Our time in Homer was highlighted by our stay with Majestic Views!

Kevin’s lodge is beautiful and peaceful. The bed was really comfortable and he provided an exquisite crab dinner and breakfast. He shuttled us to and from the airport and even took us to town to grab lunch for the plane ride before takeoff. His place has a freezer to store fish and has boxes available to purchase.

I had a very nice stay and I’d highly recommend Bronwyn’s place. It was very clean, the view was exceptional and the stay was very nice. She made a delicious breakfast every day, which was a treat. I’m grateful to have been able to stay at such a nice place.

This place was amaaazing!!! Don’t know how to emphasize it enough. Location- great! Near bars and restaurants. Downtown is a few steps away. Great park nearby too!

This home is so peaceful and serene. I felt very welcomed right from the moment I arrived.

Mary Ann’s place was perfect for me as a solo traveler. The room is super clean and thoughtfully decorated. Her breakfasts are scrumptious. The house has a great location, within walking distance of the harbor, downtown, and the Sealife Center, and is 1-1/2 blocks from a town shuttle stop. The location is quiet. Mary Ann was very responsive answering questions before and during my arrival. While I was staying I had all the privacy I needed, but also knew that Mary Ann was easy to reach if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again.

Michael was a great communicator and enthusiastic host. He gave us great tips for Homer including some of the best pizza and bagels we’ve had in awhile. He makes nice strong coffee in the morning! And the room’s view was perhaps the neatest we’ve ever had!

Edgarita’s place is an old fashioned bed and breakfast. Edgarita opened the front door of her house and greeted us before we got out of our car. Edgarita has a menu and you get to pick what you want for breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. Not only does Edgarita feed you breakfast, she will also tell you her family’s amazing history with dog sledding. We felt like family and we were sad to leave. We 100% recommend Edgarita’s place.

Exactly what we needed for our 2 day stay in Anchorage. I stayed with my wife and son. The location is a walking distance to downtown restaurants and bars. The unit was clean and private. The common areas were clean and welcoming. Light breakfast provided is and excellent bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Ashly was wonderful and very accommodating. Homemade sourdough bread, chocolate chip cookies, and the breakfast were amazing. Seldovia Alaska is a majestic place .

Eric greeted us as soon as we pulled in and helped get the cars settled in the right spot and then made sure he had a proper head count for the following mornings breakfast. After that, Sue gave us a tour of the property and made sure we had everything we needed and took good care of us. In the morning Eric cooked up an amazing breakfast for the house. Everything was amazing and we appreciated being able to relax after such a long travel day.

Was looking for a place to stay for 1 night for a doctors appointment and this place was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood and not too far from everything we needed to do and was very clean and tidy. We happened to meet them as we pulled up and from the very beginning they were super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely try and stay here again in the future.

Dana was so wonderful she picked us up from the airport and dropped us off and we were prepared to walk. Gave us a tour of the town so we knew where everything was and how to navigate the airstrips. Most of all we had to travel with our doggie and her place is dog friendly and also immaculately clean. Fully stocked with anything you may need. The view from her property made the trip.
