We stayed here to help determine exactly where in France we would want to move. Cédric and his family were amazingly welcoming and helpful! They are courteous and kind. Even though they are on site, we rarely saw or heard them, allowing us privacy, but still available when we needed help. We are still learning French and they were very patient with our language barrier and we were always able to communicate. The house is on top of a hill, overlooking a beautiful setting. It is so calm and peaceful. Nearby towns offer any amenity needed and we were an easy drive to larger cities like Toulouse and Albi. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for tranquility.

very nice independent cottage in a quiet and quiet place amid greenery and alongside our hosts Pascale and Michel who gave us a very good welcome and who was able to provide us with very good advice and attention to make our stay pleasant and to enjoy what to visit nearby, it is an ideal place to rest and visit the Albi region.

Perfect stay in Muriel and Nicolas' accommodation. The cottage is beautiful, welcoming and the setting soothing! We took advantage of the superb pool and the amenities offered, everyone was delighted and refreshed!

Me and my boyfriend and our two dogs had a great stay at the cottage, its really private and peaceful, nice to go for walks with the dogs, there are some farm animals to look at, fenced garden so the dogs can go out whenever, the pool and bbq was perfect when it was sunny and the jacuzzi was the best, it works perfect even when its rainy and windy because its inside. We had everything we needed, even a raclette machine which is always a big plus. Everything was clean, friendly host who was always quick to answer, really recommend this place 🤩☀️

with my spouse and our baby we came to get some fresh air for 2 nights and we were able to recharge. Ideally located accommodation, only 13 minutes from Albi. Very well-equipped accommodation. We really enjoyed the terrace and the barbecue provided. Small plus: the view of the garden and the pool. Nothing to say except that you can go there with your eyes closed. Caroline is very available and friendly.

The cottage really lived up to our expectations: nature, water, forest, quiet and everything you need to fully enjoy: well-equipped kitchen, swimming pool, barbecue, bathroom and toilet in each room, games for children. Our friendly hosts were as attentive as they were discreet. I recommend this nature lodge to anyone who wants to disconnect with family or friends in a beautiful setting.

We had a very good week in the pretty house of the beautiful village of Varen. The accommodation is functional and very well renovated. We loved the hikes in Saint Antonin, Najac and Penne.

Jay sent us all the check-in information, we met Ben who was able to show up if there was any need. The accommodation is located in the center of many medieval villages. A comfortable accommodation, perfectly renovated in its sheepfold juice of the time. I highly recommend it. Thanks Jay!

We had a great stay in this charming cottage, located in a beautiful wooded park with bamboo grove, pond and a beautiful swimming pool. The welcome was perfect: warm, attentive, with really caring hosts – a real plus! The accommodation is comfortable, well-equipped and ideal for a family with children: lots of games, large outdoor spaces, peaceful atmosphere, treasure hunt... Its location, a few kilometers from Bruniquel, is convenient for discovering the region. However, a small point of attention for people with reduced mobility: the staircase is narrow, the beams are low in the rooms, and there is no water point upstairs. But apart from that, the rooms are very comfortable and well air-conditioned. A beautiful place that we gladly recommend to those looking for accommodation full of charm and stories, nature and friendliness.

Everything was perfect. Fluid communication, the perfect location for hiking and visiting the tarn region, full of lakes, rivers and exceptional villages. Albi a scarce 30mins. The house, just perfect, very nice and very well equipped. The truth is that we have rested and enjoyed a lot as a family.

This is a great place. Beautifully and thoughtfully equipped - very much like a home. Everything you want is there. I would happily recommend this and If I am visiting this region, I would rebook.

Excellent stay at Helen and Stuart's. The cottage is extremely well equipped. The view is magnificent from the garden and the pool. We were lucky enough to enjoy it during a sunny long weekend. The garden is also very well equipped (badminton court, petanque court, deckchair, etc.). Finally, Helen and Stuart are charming and caring hosts who offer a quality stay. The value for money is excellent. We will probably come back.

Perfect in every possible way, I would recommend it to everybody. Absolutely stunning setting, inside everything is fantastic, very tastefully decorated. Clean, very complete, well stocked so you do not have to go to the shops immediatly. Good beds, shower in every room. Very big living room with amazing views and lots of seating areas. And so much more. So much to visit and do in the surrounding countryside. We would love to visit again. And a lovely welcome by the owners, even if you arive much later due to traffic 🙏🏻, thousand thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at Aurelie's place, it's a beautiful house and the garden is a lovely place to spend time. It's a countryside home so we did encounter a couple of big spiders, but overall had a wonderful stay here. Aurelie was great to communicate with and didn't mind us making a last minute booking. L'almandier was a lovely conversion in the beautiful setting of La Maresque, with the heated pool a bonus. It was more spacious than in the photographs and very well equipped. It was a short trip to Albi, with its historical centre, shops and restaurants. Danielle and Jean-Marc gave us a warm welcome and were very approachable and responsive. We would love to return one day.

Great stay with the family. Very suitable house with studio and 2 bedroom with separate entrances. Perfect for the 15 people (including 6 children) we were.

What a wonderful house. Thank you to you both for a great stay. The immediate area and views from the house are beautiful and there is so much more to do in the area than we had time for. There are also options for really hot weather (ie pool days and garden dinners 😊) and cooler days - markets, walks, an amazing day in Burlats for their Medieval festival, galleries, Lautrec and the fabulous Cafe Plum… We didn’t scratch the surface. Lots of room in the house and all very relaxed. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
