House holiday rentals in Alcatraz Island

Very homey and welcoming. Family enjoyed celebrating time together in all spaces of the house, especially the back patio where our young child made believe on the well-designed pirate ship. Friendly, kind host. We walked to adorable Rockridge and BART many times. Highly recommended.

Staying at this small house with pool was just what I needed. Enjoyed all aspects of my stay!

A group of lifelong friends and I meet once a year for a long weekend to catch up, decompress, and spend time together. We chose San Francisco this year and after hunting on AirBnB we stumbled across this estate on JAR Farms. The host Nikki was proactive, helpful, and responsive. We arrived on Wednesday and drove to thru the gate into a lush oasis. The pictures on the listing didn't do the property justice. We arrived at the guest house to a welcome gift of wine, local honey, and snacks. We were a group of 6 adults and the guest house was cozy yet a perfect size for a reunion of friends. We were given a tour of the property showing us the boat house/beach, grand staircase to the bay overlook, the pool house (pool and hot tub), gardens, bee hives, and the many trails on the property. The mornings we hiked Monahan Trail at the adjacent Old St. Hillary's Preserve. In the afternoons we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice bbq dinner. Perfect weekend! HIGHLY recomended. Will be returning!

Wow - we had an amazing stay and loved Job's beautiful home. The photos barely capture the incredible views. 180 degrees views of Mt. Tam all the way down to the Bay - truly on top of world. Pool was bigger than expected, warm water, great covered porch, VERY nice pool house/bedroom & bath. All beds were super comfortable, everything sparkling clean and living room was such a great and comfy area to watch movies or just look at the view with a good book. Kitchen is outfitted (and labeled) with everything you need. Very close to San Anslemo downtown - which is filled with great lunch spots, coffee shops. So much to do in Marin and this is centrally located (note a steep driveway but we had no issues.) Can't think of a single improvement Job could make. I left something behind and he responded that day that he would ship back to me. One of our most favorite Airbnbs ever. THANK YOU!

Fabulous trip! We were greeted warmly by Jana and settled easily into the spaces of this large character home on a quiet cul de sac. It worked perfectly for our group of four. We loved the peaceful feeling of being on the water and the nearby pathways along the bay; it's lovely to sit outside to read and sip something. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it is very well-equipped. We got in some great hikes and meals at Mt. Tam, San Rafael, San Anselmo, Fairfax and Pt. Reyes as well as a SFMOMA day in the city. A wonderful location! Don't hesitate.

Amazing property & setting, absolutely loved the pool, sport court, etc. Hosts were communicative & easy, will certainly be back for another warm-weather escape.

I love this place. My favorite Airbnb to date. It’s more beautiful in person. They have everything you can think of, very accommodating. He even let us check in early. I love this place. We will definitely stay again. And Kenny is so friendly!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is maintained perfectly for guests - everything from the most common chargers on each bedside table, excellent WiFi, a night light in the room designed for kids, and every item you could possibly need in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable and rooms just right for a family. The yard and outdoor space was particularly special and perfect for a family get together, evening meals, and/or daytime activities. Thomas was exceptionally responsive and made check in a breeze. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed staying at Denis’s place. It was located near where we wanted to be in the city in Bernal heights. The views are very nice and the space is beautiful inside with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. Parking is a little tough but we were able to park within a block. We would stay again.

Host was responsive and provided clear check-in and check-out details. The location was in a safe neighborhood and centrally located, making it easy to travel around San Francisco. The place itself was roomy and the beds were comfortable. There were also 3 bathrooms which was great for our group of 7.

Stunning location with an even more stunning view. We visited for a wedding, and Oxana's place was the perfect retreat from the hoopla of the weekend. Close to town, yet in the center of nature. A lovely deck to sit with morning coffee or evening wine and relax with a book. And the bed was very comfy. Would recommend on your next trip to Mill Valley.

Marianne has created a beautiful oasis for guests to relax and recharge. As a fellow airbnb superhost for the past 15 years I can truly say this was the most well stocked and appointed airbnb that I have stayed in. Aspirational. 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back!

Just as advertised. I come to San Francisco often and usually stay in this area, so it was a perfect location for me. It was a 10 minute walk from my son’s home. Right across the street from Golden Gate Park which I love to walk. All Emily described is completely accurate, transportation, museums , restaurants, etc. Quiet and safe neighborhood. If available I would definitely stay here again.

Dan‘s place was absolutely amazing. Perfect location, great views and he responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be staying here when we come back to the Bay Area. Thanks again Dan!

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

We loved Sausalito and Mei was a wonderful host. The location of the home was just perfect, within walking distance of the waterfront and ferry, cute shops, quaint cafes and restaurants. Mei was very responsive to our needs, a good communicator, and was flexible with out check in and check out. Mei's place was very clean and well-equipped. The home is just a short drive across the GG to San Francisco and other incredible day trips. Our favorite thing was the incredible view and breeze off the bay. Thank you!
