It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

The pub downstairs is a craft ale bar and great fun in an evening, so come down and join us! Please note: Live music in the pub which can be heard in the sitting room especially at weekends.

The Hut offers the best of all worlds: it borders a nature reserve, is just 0.7 miles from Lancaster station, is a 10 minute walk from the historic city centre, with its many cafés and museums and a stone's throw from the Lancaster Canal where you can amble along taking in the wildlife, boats and pubs. Bright and cheerful this small terraced house is on a quiet residential street only 5 minutes walk from the city centre. The house is open plan with a well equipped kitchen and living space on the ground floor while upstairs is a lovely, spacious bathroom, one double and one small double bedroom. Up to two dogs are welcome with the canal tow path 3 minutes away. To the rear is a small fenced yard with seating. This home is not suitable for parties.
