Cottage holiday rentals in Alentejo

We went to the country house with friends and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The idea that the bedrooms are downstairs and the rest of the rooms in the house are upstairs seemed very good to us for those who wanted to rest. Everything was very clean and the house is as shown in the listing. Alejandro is very friendly and gave us perfect directions to get there and to the parking area, since it's a small town and not all the streets are suitable for parking. Besides, the village is beautiful. We will definitely be back !!!

Delightful, quiet location, with fully furnished house. Outside, there is a wonderful swimming pool (approx. 8x4x1.5 meters) in a spacious garden with a beautiful view of the surroundings. As a cherry on top, there is also a super Jacuzzi with delicious relaxation beds.

Everything was wonderful, the estate is great with its views, orange, everything, the little house had everything and they brought us to a great barbecue, Ana and her mother were wonderful, we really liked it, and the dog of the estate was great, and the dog of the estate was coming to visit us every afternoon, just to thank them for everything, we hope to return soon

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check in. Absolutely recommended!

Casa May is an idyllic place . The house is set in a beautiful garden which merges into the surrounding bush. Set about a kilometre from the main road , it epitomises peace and quiet.

We enjoyed the beautiful house and view very much. Very stylishly decorated and really authentic. If you want peace and quiet it is the perfect place!

Bruno’s place was peaceful and a relaxing sanctuary including the bells from sheep next door He was helpful in suggesting local treasures and places to find local cuisine. Little touches around the sweet cottage added to feeling welcomed Also very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return

At Adelaide and her husband's, you are really treated like a guest. We felt right at home. It is a spacious authentic house with a beautiful garden with a wonderful swimming pool. We had a few warm days, but the house feels cool. Wonderfully quiet and rural environment. Thank you Adelaide!

My family and I loved staying at Vitor's place. We received a welcome basket with a thought for our children. The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and the outdoor space is simply magical and very popular with both adults and children. The village of Fuz is very quickly reached by car. Ideal place to rest and have a little privacy with family.

I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The space was peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm – the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, and you can really feel the care that’s gone into creating such a welcoming environment. One of the unexpected highlights was getting to meet their three lovely dogs – Nuts, Thelma, and Louise. Each of them has such a sweet personality, and they added so much warmth and character to our stay. Thank you for the incredible hospitality – I hope to return again soon!

The place is as illustrated in the pictures. Very beautiful and cozy house, with plenty of outdoor space and, of course, the pool where you can stay an entire afternoon just looking at the valley. Perfeito to relax and as a base to visit the nearest towns/villages. Super super comfortable sofa. The Host responds quickly to questions. I recommend it.

This is a special spot in a gorgeous part of the Setubal peninsula. It's extremely quiet and even though there is a house behind and next to it, it feels very private. Even when people were enjoying the pool in the house behind this one, I could barely hear them as I sat out on my peaceful front patio. The completely fenced-in yard was a great spot for my dog to explore. The kitchen is completely stocked and the rental even came with paper towels (a true rarity), and a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The bathroom had plenty of soap and toilet paper -- something that's not always a given here. The beds were comfortable, the windows were new and solid, and the outdoor shower was a nice way to cool off after a ride using the included bikes. The region is gorgeous with many beautiful hikes and vistas everywhere. Perhaps the best part of it all though, was Joao's communication. He was always quick to respond and had great local recommendations. Can't wait to come back!

We felt very comfortable with our children in Anna-Lena's accommodation. The beautiful house sits on a thoroughfare that is somewhat but not overly busy. With a wonderful view of the countryside, the property has everything you need to slow down: something to play for the children (mud kitchen, trampoline, swing, chickens and rabbits), lots of peace and nature with access to the river. The house was super equipped and very clean. We will be happy to come back.

Diane was a great host, she made us feel welcomed right from the start. The place was more spacious than it looked in the pictures, very pleasant, clean and tidy. Perfect for a couple. The area is very peaceful and perfect for people wanting a chilled break yet being near amenities. The nearest city is Torres Vedras (15min drive) has all the things you need, supermarkets and shopping. The enchanting Medieval village of Óbidos, is only 20min away and Lisbon 45min on the A8. I was once again well received by Grace, who proves to always be attentive, helpful and available to help with anything. Including cooking good dishes! Grateful for Rita's attention and availability, which is very communicative and concerned about guests. Celine's estate is a true haven of peace, with a natural beauty that conveys enormous sensations of calmness and lightness. It is always a pleasure to be in the company of the farm animals and to be able to interact with everyone. I'll come back a third time🤍

We had a wonderful stay here! Our host Daniel was fantastic, he gave us a warm and friendly welcome and lots of recommendations. He also left us local fresh bread, cherries, wine and local cake to try! The air bnb is very well equipped and decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. The outside pool area was absolute bliss, so comfortable and gorgeous to spend time in the sun! There is nothing we could fault at all and enjoyed our stay so much, we cannot recommend our host and this place enough, one of the best places we have ever stayed ☺️

We were more than satisfied with everything. The accommodation is wonderfully quiet and you can relax super. Beautiful beaches can be reached in about 25 minutes. The highlight is definitely the huge pool. Ideal and refreshing for swimming and diving. Air conditioning worked great and in the evening you could always ventilate well. Parking is directly on the premises. Everything is easily accessible. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. The hosts were as hospitable as we have rarely experienced. Everything is taken care of (garbage disposed of, new towels, etc.). Very clear recommendation for this Airbnb :)
