Holiday rentals with a sauna in Alentejo

Really a great place with very good amenities and good location in the Algarve. Jan-Taken was accessible at all times and also supported us superbly. We felt very comfortable. The complex in which the apartment is located is also very well maintained and at the beginning of May there was also not so much going on, so it was really quiet and not full. The apartment offers its own table tennis rackets and private access to the gym, which we also loved.

One of the best places I have stayed at! The location was beautiful, quiet and easily accessible. The apartment was everything we needed and more, I wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely be returning here next time I visit Portugal. Martine, the host, was friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home - even providing some complimentary drinks and oranges for us to make fresh orange in the morning!

My family and a friend stayed here and absolutely loved it! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The pool was right outside the back doors, and the view was beautiful. We really appreciated the extra touches, like beach umbrellas and a boogie board, which we definitely made use of. The beds were very comfortable, which was such a relief after staying at several other places with hard mattresses. All in all, a fantastic stay—we’d definitely come back!

We had an incredible stay at this amazing Airbnb for nearly a month! The listing was spotless and perfectly described. The amenities were top-notch, with a fully equipped kitchen, a comfy bed, and a cozy living room. In addition, there is an indoor pool, an outside pool, and a gym space with excellent equipment. You must follow all rules associated with the amenities, understandably (white towel and proper footwear for the gym, etc). The host was always accessible, and while there were a couple of things that needed attention early in our stay, it was taken care of in a very professional and timely manner. There is a beautiful patio to relax on, but you will not get the sun there at any time throughout the day. While this may be a negative for some, for others, this is a very positive aspect. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This is a great apartment in a lovely complex with incredible views. It was very clean and quiet as only a few of the other apartments were occupied during our stay. The beds were comfy and the terrace, gardens and pool were excellent and extremely well maintained. We had the pool and gym facilities to ourselves. The property manager was there to greet us and was very helpful and responsive to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

The apartment was exactly as pictured—modern, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views. The location was walkable, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host and the thoughtful welcome gift—it was a lovely touch! The recommendations provided were appreciated. That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Directions to the apartment were a bit tricky to follow, and the 6 PM check-in time felt quite late compared to my experiences over 8 years of staying in Airbnbs around the world. We were surprised to find that some necessities weren’t provided. For a 3-night stay with 4 guests, only 4 coffee pods and a few mismatched tea bags were available, which seemed more like leftovers than intentional provisions. There were also no paper towels or basic cooking staples (beyond salt and pepper). Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

Lovely place to stay very welcoming, and you wouldn’t be disappointed, went above and beyond to make sure your stay was the best , definitely would go back if in Portugal 🇵🇹 👌🏻

Daniel is an incredible host! We arrived very late in the evening and he was so kind to meet us at that hour to show us all the amazing features of the home. His home is gorgeous! We made great use of the gym, sauna, hot tub and cold plunge, which is as an extra special highlight! City center and restaurants are a short drive away. Daniel’s restaurant recommendations were very helpful. Would absolutely stay again if we are ever in Portugal again. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful.

Paulo is a fantastic host, our very first Air bnb ! We would definitely recommend as it was just the perfect holiday for us! Lots of walks and beaches are beautiful, all within a few minutes walk. A great small supermarket with Coffee bar again just a few minutes walk. Brilliant , loved it!

Throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Colette’s spacious apartment. It was clean, well equipment and comfortable. Alto club had fantastic facilities and grounds are well kept. Colette is a great host, very helpful and informative. 100% recommend and I would love to return in the future. Ciara.

Great location, super property, squeaky clean - provided you can enter the complex. Carlos communicated quickly but his English is difficult to follow. Wifi is excellent and the large balcony is a great place to relax.

What a pleasant surprise! Cabanas de Tavira is a lovely place . We loved the beach, specially with kids, lots of shells and very calm ocean. My girls loved the swimming pool, and the apartment is walking distance to the restaurants and shops for a night stroll. We would definitely return. One of the nights my girls wanted to watch the evening show from the hotel, a bit pricey to what it is, but apart from that everything was great!

Cristina’s place is perfect for a stay in Cascais - particularly if you have a young child as high chair, and cot kindly provided. There is a lovely indoor and outdoor pool and enclosed garden. The apartments are very secure and have great planting. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here as a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. They have thought of everything from cosy blankets to keep you warm in the evening outside to a well equipped kitchen. The outdoor space is amazing and the pool was perfect, even though we were a bigger group there was plenty of space in the house and garden and we never felt on top of each other. We chose not to rent a car and it was a 20-25 minute walk to the supermarket which was fully stocked with everything and had good wine and seafood selection. You also have a beautiful view of a winery across the road. Jeroen was a super helpful host who always replied very quickly and accommodated an early check in for us. We had a lovely peaceful stay and would come back again.

Amazing place with beautiful landscape. 10 min away from Aljezur providing peaceful time during our stay but not to far from the beach and restaurants! Elli was very helpful and always available. We hard great time.

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

The villa is absolutely stunning, we were a party of 7 adults and 2 children, so much room for us all with every couple able to have a separate bathroom which is always a plus. The villa was very clean and so well equipped with everything you could need. Sara meet us at check in and check out. She was so helpful, she gave us a guided tour of the property and answered any questions we had during the week (which was alot ha) The villa is very quiet and in a lovely residential area. It was a bit far for us to walk to the marina with the kids as it was during a heatwave with temperatures reaching 36 degrees but the Bolt taxi app was great, very cheap and quick service. A taxi to the marina was only around 3 euros. The kids loved the pool area and it was lovely and shaded from around 5pm which was ideal for us. also plenty of seating inside and out. over all we had an amazing time in the villa and would definelty return and recommend to everyone. Beautiful home with very tasteful decor in a quaint part of the Algarve. Great location if you plan to discover the Algarve by car. I would definitely book this home again

We had a great stay with Gem & Gary. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It’s also just a few minutes walk from some amazing beaches.
