Family-friendly holiday rentals in Alfeizerão

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

in terms of communication, the amenities and the location... simply fantastic for me as a surfer. has everything you need, very good surf spots right outside the front door after relaxing in the hot tub on the roof terrace. surrounded by fine restaurants, just amazing :) is definitely worth it!

Great host! We loved the breakfast in the morning and Hélder had the jacuzzi ready for us when we arrived within an hour of booking!

Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

We loved this cozy place, best mix of carefully renovated rooms, handmade (wooden) bed and new furniture ! Lots of space in the kitchen, little balcony to enjoy sunsets. The Aldi nearby is super handy and the Airbnb is at walking distance to the beach and Town center. For surfing, as it was quite windy, we took the car to the other (more protected) site of the beach. The early Check-in and late check-out made our stay perfect!

Elisa's place is a beautiful, quiet, perfect home base for any stay in Nazaré. You can feel the care taken to ensure a great visit. It's just removed enough to feel very calm, but incredibly quick to get closer to the busier areas on foot. Comfy beds, common space to gather as a group. Would stay here again any day! Check out / support the specialty coffee shop Colour Beans & the surf school Surf4You! A driving note: Getting there by car can be difficult, but Elisa does a good job of assisting (she's very responsive and kind). You have to go up a small side street that looks like it may be a one way street to get to the garage entrance (then head inside to get the garage door opener from the apartment). Once you find it everything is smooth sailing. Very nice having a dedicated space for the car.

The villa is well equipped and is a great location as a starting point for day trips, multiple coast locations within 20 - 30 minutes. The villa has all you can need for a family holiday, the pool is big enough for a family holiday it has a small shelf step which my granddaughter (3yrs old) used to help with her swimming which was great. The host is very responsive if you need any help and provided simple but clear answers. Would recommend for a family holiday as long as you had a car, there is limited access to restaurants local to the property but not a negative for our family but worth knowing.

Everything is practically as described , parking space on the street , the area is quiet , generally good.

We had a wonderful stay at Joäo’s place. All the personal touches just made the stay that extra bit special. It was great having a kitchen, parking spot and washing machine. Highly recommend this accommodation ☺️

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

One of the best places I've ever stayed for Airbnb!! Beautiful house, much better than the photos show! Maria Elisa came to greet us, very friendly and helpful! The house is perfectly furnished and decorated. Everything was neatly clean and organized. I can only thank Maria Elisa for giving us the honor of staying in her beautiful home! I recommend a thousand times!!!

Jane was a terrific person to deal with as we planned our return visit to Foz for our anniversary. Very quick to respond to our queries and offer up suggestions for our trip. Very hands on about the booking, even though she doesn’t live in the local area. Thanks Jane!!

Mrs. Nélia and her daughter Patrícia, are to be congratulated, the cleanliness was impeccable, comfortable apartment, spectacular kitchen, complete with everything necessary for a family to spend an excellent weekend. Mrs. Nélia was kind enough to leave us some treats and also upgraded us to a superior apartment. Thank you very much and we will certainly see you again soon!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at this lovely quirky characterful villa. The welcome was fantastic with a table laid out with delicious foods by Adelia. The outside terraces around the pool are beautiful with stunning views and sunsets. We also made good use of the barbecue. We were there with 6 adults and 2 babies. There is literally nothing missing in the house, everything is catered for, even 2 highchairs! When we had an issue with the lack of hot water, our hosts responded promptly and things were resolved. We can highly recommend this lovely house. The local restaurant is also worth a visit where Susanna will cook up a storm.

Beautiful villa. Had everything we needed - 7 adults. Very quiet location. Small supermarket 10 minute walk, massive LeClerc 20 min drive. Beach walkable (think you might want a car if you have young kids). Have to pay extra for heating the pool and aircon. Host is excellent at responding to queries and has great suggestions for places to eat. We had a great week. Would recommend villa and host.

AMAZING! after a week of staying here we were sad we had to leave. Its a beautiful and peaceful place. Perfect to escape everything and really get to relax. The hosts and all the animals are lovely and very friendly. We didn’t have a car but with bolt it was super affordable to take trips to the beach and villages nearby. Definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone. 🫶
