Cottage holiday rentals in Alford

We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Had such a lovely stay at The Hatchery! It had everything you need and more. The little things were thought about. Really nice quality bedding and towels - and plenty of them! Natalie & family were friendly and kept on top of the hot tub while we were there making sure it had the right chemical levels in etc! It’s a lovely spot for a quiet weekend, near enough to beaches but far enough from the crowds! Lovely!

Spacious house. Good sized rooms. Good outside space. Nice and quiet. Bit difficult to get out of the drive by car as it was on a bend with little visibility. Cooking was by AGA ( except for microwave) . That would be great in winter but not ideal during the hottest week of the year.

Amazing stay! Just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Yew Cottage is in a fantastic location and has lots to offer. We loved the hot tub and it was only a short drive to the closest beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a fantastic stay ☺️

fab weekend away in a lovely cottage with everything you need and more. Friendly hosts who were helpful with arranging our daytrip into Lincoln. Hot tub was great to relax in after a full day visiting Lincoln. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

We stayed at this property for 4days and enjoyed every minute ! It was in an amazing stay and from the off we felt right at home. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, entering the property it felt warm and welcoming. The kitchen and all rooms were spotless and all beds were comfy with everyone sleeping really well. The hot tub and pool were also clean and we enjoyed both on several occasions. Katie was very helpful on a couple of questions and pointers which felt like we were being looked after. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking this property very shortly for the summer!!! Wonderful stay highly recommended.*****

It was an absolutely lovely cottage. Henny checked that everything was fine after the first night and if I needed anything to make my stay there better.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Walking distance to all attractions like Lincoln Castle( literally on the door step) Lincoln Cathedral and Steep Hill. Lovely pubs and restaurants very close to the cottage. A fantastic park just across the road if like us you are travelling with a dog, it’s perfect for morning walks! Be sure to check out the beautiful community gardens just off the park. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable! A very well equipped kitchen and lovely lemon muffins to welcome us and some treats for our dog too! ❤️ Thank you Leah and Kevin for all the amazing and detailed information before we arrived and for a lovely stay in Lincoln.

Beautiful one level cottge in the most peaceful setting. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the birds. The cottage is very unique in having a garden room. Well equipped kitchen, good TV, wifi coverage and nice bathroom. We thought the cottage was also excellent value We enjoyed the Lincolnshire Wolds, which we didn't know much about before visiting. We had day trips to Louth, Cleethorpes beach, International Bomber Command Centre, Elsham Gardens and woodland walks. Plenty to do Note for accessibility: there are 3 steep steps down into the garden room and 3x 1steps in the bedroom/bathroom corridor with one much larger than the others . Tip: arrive in daylight as we struggled to find the cottage in the dark. The owner was helpful when contacted to guide us to it.

Absolutely perfect location. Beds and living space were very comfortable. As others have said-there are some steep stairs to bedrooms but we had no problems, just something to be aware of. Extra responsive and helped us book a taxi to the airport when my phone wouldn’t call out. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Ducks Nest in February and were happy to cone again, this time in Pheasants Roost. Everything was perfect again. We'll definitely look to stop here again when coming to the east coast and highly recommend it.

We've just come back from a wonderful 12 night holiday here! Myrtle Cottage is gorgeous and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lucy is a great host, she really went the extra mile to make sure we ALL had everything we needed and were well looked after. To be honest everything is top notch but the beautiful sunny garden and outdoor furniture deserve special mention, such a pleasure to chill out there! The village is pretty and so quiet and peaceful, yet there is easy access to fabulous dog friendly beaches and busier resorts along the coast in both directions ( the bus service is very good ). The village pub/bakery is also really nice and literally a few minutes walk away. This was a special Holiday for us, the first we'd spent with our daughter and son in law and our first baby granddaughter, we couldn't have a picked a better one! Thank you Lucy, we'll be back and can highly recommend it to everyone.

Sara’s place was fantastic and met our needs perfectly! Communication was fantastic and the house is beautiful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We had a lovely three night stay .Stable Cottage is very centrally placed for visiting Sandringham and the north Norfolk coast. The village of Castle Rising and the castle itself are an easy walk away. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Thank you Sue and Barry

The cottage has been planned and presented with excellent attention to detail. The gardens are huge and so well maintained. The gardens have lots of little 'hidden places' and quirky details that add to the whole experience. We loved the location, as it's off the beaten track but, not at the end of a dreadful dirt track but, amidst lovely open fields and with well laid access. Don't expect a million shops or restaurants in walking distance but, nice pubs and food are short drives away. Local town about 20 mins easy drive. A perfect haven for two people looking for peace and quiet.

Beautiful property situated within a beautiful location. The house did not disappoint! Spacious, clean and so very quiet. The space exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend Brickley Rise to anyone. Amy was brilliant, responsive and on hand for any questions and provided recommendations on where to eat/visit. A must stay!!

Amazing place one of the nicest I have stayed away from home, and instantly felt comfortable. If I’m ever in the area again I would stay here 100%. I can’t praise the cleanliness enough (hotel standard) and the complimentary items are a really lovely touch. Communication was great. Thank you both

Our stay at Thor's Garden Homestead was excellent, this charming property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The spacious living areas provided ample room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The location is ideal for exploring the local area, with easy access to scenic walks and attractions. It served as the perfect base for our visits to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, the International Bomber Command Centre, RAF Coningsby, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the nearby coast—Skegness, Sandilands, Sutton on Sea, and Mablethorpe were all within reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful countryside retreat with great access to both culture and coast

Comfortable house in a quiet location & well equipped & maintained to a high standard. Outstanding house manual with laminated sheets for all appliances including heating & TVs. Also well compiled information folder re surrounding area re restaurants, places of interest etc. We would highly recommend Staithe View & Hetti as a Host.

Lovely shabby chic character terraced cottage. We enjoyed our stay here, nice enclosed rear garden for our dog. There is a nice tearoom a couple of doors away and lovely walking from the door and many great walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Recommend.

Been on air b&b a few times now and as we wanted to see what skegness was like and as it near to us booked daisy cottage for a long weekend we found the place using our sat nav and loved burgh le marsh where the cottage was it was with a lot of other cottages the place was .so lovely and clean and exactly what we needed and would certainly go there again.

We had a great time, and we're communication before and during our stay was brilliant. Lovely area and plenty of room for us all with excellent facilities
