We loved our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. But the best part was the beautiful surroundings and the amazing pool - perfect after a hot day in Ronda! We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful estate near the beach and 15 minutes from downtown Tarifa! With beautiful views and everything you need for a weekend with family or friends. The grill is excellent!

This villa is like heaven on earth! I have never been to a more beautiful place in my life.. the surroundings are paradise.. large cypress trees surround the villa and large extensive grounds.. there is a beautiful large celebrity worthy pool and stunning log table with Greek style tiled gazebo! The villa was clean and comfortable and had everything you could possibly need! There are fabulous tennis courts and plenty of seating in the grounds over looking the acres of land! Every corner had something more fabulous! We also had visits from a gorgeous little dog which made our trip! I cannot praise this beautiful place enough! Heaven on earth!!!!

Juan José is an excellent person, he communicated everything to me, He told me the points of interest. Friendly and polite. And very attentive to me. That if I needed anything to call him at any time. I highly recommend that house. Thank you very much Juan José.

The special thing is that you are only a few meters away from the sea and have a private path there. Otherwise, you have to walk quite far in Zahora, as there are only a few parking spaces by the sea....which is good. The little house is quietly located in an area of 7 houses or apartments. If anything, we were able to contact us and the gardener or caretaker did it right away . That was great . Salad was also available from the small garden. It was very quiet as the houses were little occupied in May. We liked it very much and would be happy to come back . Beds are great and also in the kitchen there was everything you need including summons, etc. The furnishings of the house are very nice. It is also great that there are extra chairs and an umbrella for the beach. We felt very comfortable. Thanks again and see you again soon.

Walter and Sabina have a dream cabin. It's a beautiful and very peaceful place. The hosts welcomed us and were always charming. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a little peace. We are already looking forward to repeating!

Our family of 8 enjoyed staying at Juan's charming & rustic home. If you are looking for a modern Airbnb, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Ronda, where you can enjoy beautiful views from your deck/patio/private pool & enjoy family time...then this place is for you. When you are ready to leave your comforts of home, you can drive to two of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia: a quick 10 minutes to Ronda or 25 minutes to the amazing & unique Setenil de las Bodegas. Juan's place has all of the comforts of a mountain home, complete with views of endless stars at night, 2 full bathrooms, enough room to sleep 8 comfortably & two air conditioning units (1 in the main bedroom & 1 in the living room) to keep the house cool. There is no AC in the 3 downstairs bedrooms, but since the rooms are on the bottom floor, they stayed cool at night. Our boys also loved the resident neighborhood cat, whom they named "Sunflower"! Nacho is a great host with lots of good local recommendations. As we stayed for one month in february the chimney/fire place was especially welcome and worked well. The garden/outside space is lovely and very peaceful. Hopefully we will come back!

We stayed for three nights to attend a local wedding. Lovely property in stunning setting. Extremely good value, we had a great time. Ildefonso was very helpful too, would definitely return.

We had a wonderful 2-week stay at Casas de Almajar in July of 2024. My 7yo daughter and I were there along with friends, for a total of two adults and 2-3 kids at any given moment, ages 6-10. This accommodation was perfect for us. The house was cozy and stayed relatively cool during the very hot daytime hours (plus there was an A/C unit we could use when needed). We prepared most of our meals at the house and found that easy to manage with the supplies on hand. The pool was definitely the highlight of the location: it was pristine and extremely pleasant during the hot days. We spent hours there every day. The house is located uphill from most of Prado del Rey so you need to be prepared for some steep, hilly walking when you stay here, but it was only a <5 min walk to the main pedestrian walkway (lined with bars and cafes) or the town square. Juana was very helpful with local information and suggestions, from supermarkets and restaurants to nearby hiking trails. A great place!

My family and I had the perfect stay at Alfonso's. The accommodation was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved the outside BBQ and seating area, perfect for alfresco dining. 15 minute walk to the beach. The perfect place to relax and disconnect:)

What a wonderful ten days! We loved the cottage with the well equipped kitchen, the views and the outdoor space. The house has both heaters and air conditioning, but during our stay we didn’t need to use either. Really enjoyed walking up into the village and into La Janda. Tanja kindly provided fruit from her garden with some breakfast treats. Great stay!

What a great find! We had a brilliant stay - the pool terrace and location are the stand out, what a view! María was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the house was very comfortable. We are already planning our return!

I am so happy we found Raul and Taddeo‘s place. The level of hospitality, warm welcome and the around the clock responsiveness of this lovely couple was extraordinary. If you are looking for a simple but comfortable housing with all the required amenities topped with an amazing hidden gem of a beautifully landscaped garden (by the host himself who is a landscape designer) full of old olive trees, this is your place. We didn’t expect such garden beauty in an area filled with active farming land . Upon arrival we felt right at home, Raul was great in guiding us through the house and giving additional info about the local area. The cottage is rather small and very simply furnished but has all you need (great water pressure, squeaky clean (well equipped) kitchen and bathrooms). The location is a very private and peaceful oasis, just steps away from the densely populated holiday home coastal strip of Zahora with some nice restaurants and beach chiringuitos. Cute, quiet cottage-we felt right at home. The beautiful garden invites you to relax. The sea is not far away and there are many places nearby. Jesus was super friendly and helpful. During the big power outage in Spain, he provided us with many candles. Check-in and check-out were easy.
