Cottage holiday rentals in Alkmaar

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Everything is clean and easily accessible! The description of the accommodation promises nothing that is not kept. Always happy to come back!

Halo Sam was very kind. Unfortunately, there was a small communication issue with the cleaning team. But everything is half as wild. Sam took care of it. Beautiful well equipped house. We had a lovely time! We unfortunately left an electrical appliance. Sam is so nice and sends it to us! Thank you so much!

Super friendly staff. The place was as shown in the pictures and everything was very clean. Check-in and check-in worked without problems. Very great park. I can only recommend it. Perfect for kids.

We had a lovely holiday with six adults. Everything worked wonderfully. The hot tub is great! Everything was clean and exactly as it was described on the photos. The communication with the owner is great, she responds quickly and kindly. We would go back there anytime. One car can park right in front of the house, the other in front of the residential park in a free parking lot. The path is about 5 minutes - everything is easily accessible. Shopping can also be reached directly within 4 minutes by car. It is highly recommended.

Sam's place had everything we needed! Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms were comfortable. It's not far to walk to the beach from the house. Perfect for a weekend away!

We had a very nice time in Marjan's place and felt very comfortable. The cottage is modern and lovingly furnished. You'll find everything you need. On the terrace, you can relax and you can watch animals or planes all day. The hot tub was our absolute highlight and was used every night. We can definitely recommend Marjan's AirBnB and would come back anytime.

Beautiful house and perfect host!

We were four plus two dogs for an extended weekend in the beautiful little cottage of Stephanie and Wim. It is very comfortably furnished. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired.👍 We cooked twice. Even a casserole dish was available.👌 The beds are comfortable. One has a hard mattress and the other a soft one that is soft, depending on the need. With four people, it was very advantageous that there were two toilets. The living room is large and cozy. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice, so we could not enjoy the terrace. The dogs had fun in the huge, fenced garden. Wim and Stephanie are very nice hosts. Restaurants and supermarkets can only be reached by car, but you have absolute peace and quiet.🌱 We will be happy to come back.

Everything was as described and shown in the pictures; Remco was quick to reach and check-in was easy and straightforward. The large and quiet private garden was a big plus, as was the sea in 15 minutes walking distance. Small note: if you want to cook on site, you should bring your own spices and oils - otherwise everything basic can be found in the kitchen. All in one a beautiful cottage in a great location & therefore highly recommended!:-)

We had a perfect stay. Richard welcomes us with great enthusiasm and a wonderful little dog who also comes to give you a festive welcome. 🥰 Regarding the environment, it was simply beautiful, whether around (lake, beach, promenade, nice little village) or the land around the cottage. There's nothing better than to recharge your batteries in nature in an exceptional setting. (A small boat is available for the more adventurous ;) ) Regarding the accommodation, there was nothing to say about the cleanliness, faithful to the photo except that we expected to have two separate bedrooms. There were indeed two large beds, however one of them would be on the mezzanine (therefore open room). Apart from that, we loved our stay and will be back! Don't hesitate if you need a short stay in nature (only 40 minutes from Amsterdam)

The apartment is very cozy and stylish. The amenities are as described and you will find everything you need. There is also games and reading material. The location is excellent, quite close to the sea and the dunes. We have been provided with a ticket for entrance to the dunes. Our bikes have been perfectly accommodated in the small courtyard. All in all, we enjoyed our vacation here and are very satisfied.

We spent a week with our dog in the accommodation and had a great time. The apartment is perfect for a holiday with a dog - just a few minutes by car from the beach and about 20 minutes to the center of Amsterdam. So we could enjoy both beach and city holidays. The apartment is a bit small, but very cozy and ideal for two people. The small, private front garden with seating is particularly practical - perfect for dog owners or smokers. The communication with the hostess was excellent: friendly, helpful and always available, without being intrusive. We were completely satisfied and even spontaneously extended our stay. We will definitely be happy to come back!

The house was very tastefully decorated and offered everything we needed to feel at home. The view was breathtaking and we were able to enjoy many beautiful sunsets. The host was always available and gave us helpful recommendations that enriched our stay. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable trip.

I had a wonderful stay at Jeanet's comfortable, well-equipped and quiet cottage. The space is newly renovated and super-clean, and it was clear that a lot of love and energy has gone into making the space as pleasant and functional as possible. The cottage has its own private garden, and is reached via a separate entrance. The Bussum-Zuid train station is an easy 5 min walk away, and has frequent and efficient train connections to Amsterdam and other nearby cities. I also want to mention the beautiful nature walks one can make nearby, which start just beyond the train station. I will certainly consider coming back here on my business trip!

We really enjoyed our four-day stay! The cottage is exactly as in the pictures. And the location is just very good. What made us very happy was the presence of more than enough herbs, towels, coffee/tea, toilet paper, etc. Everything you normally miss was there! In addition, it was easy and quick to communicate with Sevanne before and during the stay. Recommended!

We were very warmly received by Rob and Cathy and shown around their beautiful, very complete, quiet, and spotless cottage. It more than met our expectations, Lots of privacy, beautiful surroundings, Rob and Cathy were ready for us if we had any questions 👍

I booked the space for a German colleague and he was in love with the apartment. The sleeping area is especially fantastic. Shopping center around the corner, station 10 minutes' walk and in 20 minutes by bike you are in Alkmaar or Egmond aan Zee. Astrid was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed staying with Martine very much! The entire property and especially the garden are super well maintained. A place to unplug and enjoy your vacation. The free-range chickens and the hangover were our highlight.

Sonja's place is very nice and privately located. The possibility to kayak through the canals was also great. We will be happy to come back.
