We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

Newly remodeled, very cozy space. One queen sized bed. Kitchen contains microwave, mini fridge, air fryer and outdoor grill. Very close to I196. Honestly, there is some highway noise but while being inside it’s harder to hear. Easy access to get to Holland, Saugatuck, and Grand Rapids. Security cameras on outside of premises. no smoking of any kind or drug use on premises. I clean this air bnb myself so if you have any problems with it not being clean please contact me immediately

We stayed at this lake house over Memorial Day weekend with our family, and it completely exceeded our expectations. It truly felt like the best vacation - peaceful, relaxing, and even better than we hoped for. The luxurious finishes were exactly what drew us to the home and did not disappoint. The heated pool was essential and such a treat, and the layout of the home made it so easy for all of us to hang out, cook, and enjoy time together. Ana was a great host, we would absolutely come back again!

This place lived up to the hype! It was tucked in a serene wooded area with the beach a short distance away. The stay was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities needed for our five day stay, including super comfortable beach chairs. We spent many hours reading and playing chess in the three season room. It was nice the place was equidistant from Saugatuck and Holland, making exploring both towns easy. One disclaimer for anyone with mobility issues—Laketown Beach can be extremely challenging to access (particularly on the way back) since it is a large hill and a super sandy trail. Something to keep in mind when booking.

We absolutely loved our stay at Michigan Mod. Everything we wanted to do in the area was so easily accessible, by car or on foot. The property is beautiful and you can tell someone put a lot of thought into the small details (such as locally sourced tea and coffee that I had to order online so I can have it at home too!). Perfect place to stay for a holiday weekend, an escape for a couple, or for a weekend with a small group of friends. Our favorite attractions in the area were the Dunes ride and the retro boat rentals. Thank you so much for having us! We will be back soon!

Mary's guesthouse is a real gem! From the pristinely clean, airy and open interior and functional, yet quite comfortable living area to the spectacular views of Lake Michigan and meticulously maintained gardens and outdoor spaces, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations during a brief 3 day visit at the end of May.....And Mary was a charming host as well. Very gracious and responsive, informative and delightful to talk with, she had every detail accounted for both inside and out, making for a simply wonderful and natural experience of this idyllic Lake Michigan region!

What a perfect little getaway for my family! The host thought of EVERYTHING. It seriously felt like we were the first guests in this Airbnb. Kitchen stocked and clean with nice cookware and all the basics (including coffee creamer!) Hot tub and fire pit were amazing. They even had smore ingredients and sticks to roast! The beds were so comfy that my son claimed ‘these were the best night sleeps I’ve ever had!’ Thank you!
