Great space with beach access, 5 stars!

Overall, our stay was great! We appreciated the gas grill with full propane tank, large amount of firewood available, hot tub, and the fact that we could walk to the beach! The 2 fridges were very helpful as we were cooking for friends during our stay. there were plenty of towels available. just a couple of downsides to the home to be aware of - the basement bathroom door has slats not a solid door so we had to hang a towel for privacy while showering which was not a big deal. the bedroom doors were also the same. also, it's a bit loud sleeping in the basement if people are walking around upstairs. overall it served us well. thanks Salina!

Great place for our family get-together. Beautiful location with easy access to nearby towns and grocery stores. Stunning scenery! Kitchen can be a bit small for a big group. Would definitely recommend!

Great get away from all hustle of life. But also only 30 min drive to Lake Michigan. Kitchen was well stocked with many dishes and even many spices. The backyard is so peaceful with multiple bird feeders to watch. Lake traffic was busy on weekend many boats going by our raft but quiet during the week. The lake has a-lot of growing plants so not so good for swimming but kayaking was great. The house did not have ac or wifi but plenty of fans and cooled off at night. Verizon was also not available but at&t was for phone service. A great way to disconnect from the internet❤️ Patti was very prompt with answers and knowledgeable about the area. We had 4 staying there and had plenty of room. The pull out couch mattress was even comfortable.

Greg and Kim are wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful and authentic - beautifully landscaped, magical. It's perfect - we'll return every chance we get.

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

Really nice and clean apartment in a safe area. The inside is a little smaller than we thought from the photos but there's lots of outdoor space. Saugatuck is super adorable as well.

The perfect beach getaway We booked this cottage for a quick weekend get away. The beach is a short walk out the backdoor, the host also provides a few lawn chairs which was convenient. The huge windows overlooking the beach were stunning. A deck overlooking Lake Michigan is perfect for outdoor meals. The cherry on top is the perfect sunset views from the living room, deck, or beach itself. Located a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Holland’s many restaurants. We already want to return during the summer or fall to throughly enjoy beach activities. Speaking of activities, a marina is about a 5 minute drive from the cottage and offers numerous water sport rentals ranging from boats to paddle boards. Heather was a great host, very attentive, and made sure our stay was perfect.

Great house on an adorable lake! We had warm weather and sat on the deck the entire stay. Close to so many cute towns and of course the wedding venue! We were very comfortable and loved the extra touches like kayaks, fishing poles, seasonings, Pam, sun screen and games. Thank you for a perfect stay!

I will echo the other rave reviews of this place and these hosts. We stayed in the apartment, which had a spacious living room, kitchen, bedroom with large sitting area, and bathroom with sauna. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, had a view of the water and their lovely gardens, and a private entrance. We opted not to cook, but the kitchen was very well stocked. Having use of the kayaks and the fire pit was a huge bonus for us. Dennis and Jim couldn’t have been any nicer, always responded promptly, and provided a lot of helpful instructions for the place as well as many recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfasts were amazing!! They thought of so many details that go into providing an exceptional guest experience. We were surrounded by beauty inside the home and in their yard, and every convenience and comfort was prepared for. Thank you to Dennis and Jim for giving us such a pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable stay!

New to the AirBNB platform but have been renting their little cottage for many years...and it shows. This place was a small piece of heaven with the gorgeous Lake Michigan views and short drive into Saugatuck/Douglas. Great communication with Fran. Sparkling clean. Bring your own toiletries & beach towels but everything else you could need is included....down to the beach umbrella and coffee filters. Comfortable beds. Extra pillows and blankets. AC and heart. Everything you need for temperamental Michigan weather. Amazing value for the location. No musty cabin smell. Genuinely nice people. Welcome to the AirBNB family Fran and Mort...you just raised the bar for everyone else! :)

The house was right on the lake shore with private woods to the South. Unfortunately, as described, there is not direct access to the beach/water below due to shoreline erosion. However, the view was incredible, the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the sunsets were beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with necessities, and the location was well located between South Haven and Saugatuck.

We LOVED our stay! The location was great and the house was lovely. The house is super clean with beautiful outdoor space and plenty of room for a big family. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to book again soon! Highly recommend!

Vince’s condo was excellent — new, clean, open floor plan, views of the water, and so close to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. We were originally at a different rental home for a girls trip, but that home lost power and running water while we were there so we had to quickly find a new place to stay. Vince immediately responded to my message, and shortly after, we were checking in. His condo ended up being so much better than the original place we were staying. Thank you so much Vince, we will be back again!

Husband and I were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway. And this was the perfect spot for it!!@

This home is amazing! It was clean, tidy, well-appointed, and cozy. The view is amazing! The beds were comfortable and the home has a great floor plan for when the group has early risers and late risers. Amy was a great communicator and lovely to work with. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Great spot right on the lake with private steps down to the beach. Beautiful sunsets, cute town of Fennville nearby. Furniture could use some updating but overall nice place.

Our stay was wonderful! It was so serene at the lake house. We loved watching the swans and ducks on the lake. It was perfect for a swim, fishing, or having hot coffee on a cool morning on the deck. All of the kids gear is what cinched the deal for us. Having baby gates set up and lots of toys made vacationing with two little ones so much easier! I definitely recommend this Airbnb and we hope to return some day in the future!

Our family group of 8 adults and 5 children had a wonderful vacation at The Boathouse. The large space allowed us to spread out. The children loved the game room with lots of electronic games and adults enjoyed the sun room. The private beach was magnificent and the children also enjoyed swimming off the attached dock. The fire pit was fun for roasting marshmallows. Some of the activities we enjoyed were shopping in Holland and Saugatuck, salmon fishing, renting a pontoon boat on the lake and visiting Dutch Village. All in all, a great spot for a relaxing vacation.
