The home is located 10 minutes from Kinder/ the Coushatta Casino Resort and 16 minutes from Oakdale. The cottage is peacefully surrounded by farmlands which are used for crawfish and rice. Inside, you will find one room with a twin bunk bed, and two rooms with queen beds (air mattress also provided). The kitchen is fitted for all your cooking needs with a beautiful view of the fields. Mornings are perfect for coffee on the porch while watching nature. Perfect privacy while close to the highway!

“A Little Bit A Country”

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful and peaceful place. Wake up to a nice cup of coffee sitting on the porch or patio. Grand Casino Coushatta (5 miles away) has great gambling and good food, or a round of golf at the beautiful Koasati Pines Golf Club. Not a Gambler, spend the day at the Lazy Pool (in season) or at the (Whiskey) Ouiska Chitto River canoeing or relaxing on the white sandy beach….. talk about fun. If you know you know………. Several local fishing and hunting spots.

NOT FOR LIGHT SLEEPERS! The house is next to a railroad track and the train horn and vibration can be loud and some days very frequent. Ear plugs and white noise machine provided. A 1940's cottage rescued from destruction, quirky, cozy and comfortable. Greatly suited to nomads looking for a place to rest from the road. Curated to make the guests feel at home. 20 minutes from Coushatta Casino and golf course. Cajun cuisine a short drive away. 20-minute drive to Savoy Music Center.
