Monthly Rentals in Allendale Town

Just had our 2nd stay at the Little Railway Hut and it was as magical as the first visit. The hut is super cute, comfortable and cosy and really does have everything you could possibly need, with all of this set up in a such a peaceful and private location. We just love spending time here watching the world go by without a care in the world, and Lynn is awesome at getting you down to the hut with your stuff so you can get settled in quickly. Nice walks close by, good amenities and friendly pubs. It really is a special place to spend some time. Thanks so much again, Lynn, and we will definitely see you again in the future :) X

Rose Cottage is a beautiful, spacious old cottage with all the modern amenities you might expect. Janice met us at the door to let us in and walk us around the cottage and a generous welcome pack of local produce awaited us in the kitchen. Our stay was too brief, we would have happily stayed far longer.

Perfect stay with beautiful surroundings and a very homely and natural feel. I particularly loved the cassette player, fold out wooden desk, lamps lighting and general aesthetic made me nostalgic for the 2000s without feeling at all dated. A lovely natural getaway in the peaceful North Pennines. Amanda was responsive, helpful and friendly. I would give 10 stars if I could.

A beautiful lodge in a wonderful location. Ideal for a relaxing break when you need to wind down. The lodge has everything you could need, well equipped kitchen and easy to use appliances. Plus the little extras you don’t always get, condiments, tea coffee sugar, toiletries and more. Welcome pack of bread biscuits milk & butter were much appreciated. We loved the airiness and comfortable feel of the place. Would definitely return…. Could actually live there.
