Farmstay holiday rentals in Allier

We spent 4 days in Valerie's cottage. It offers a magnificent view of a very quiet green valley. We were with our children aged 1, 3 and 4 who enjoyed the garden and the swing. The accommodation is very well equipped for families, it has a crib and very useful high chairs. It is a little isolated but that's what we were looking for (no shops within 10 min by car) 1 hour from the chain of puys.

The accommodation was perfectly located 10 minutes from the Perigères castle where we were invited to a wedding. We had requested a crib when booking, it had gotten up with fresh sheets when we arrived. In addition, Albane had planned for us a full breakfast (coffee, orange juice, milk, brioche, bread, jam & butter, etc.) which was a really nice surprise! I recommend it!

Authentic, calm, and simple. This is what best describes this cottage. extremely kind welcome from Ron. Holiday atmosphere on the farm, nature and discovery The meal was a marvel, all homemade, even the flower butter! And very hearty! View from the terrace over the fields with cows walking nearby, our son loved watching them. There is a large space with games for children (swing, trampoline, sandbox, bike). Ron and Mariken offer additional activities. We didn't stay long but the kindness of this couple and the disconnection was really pleasant.

A great discovery! A warm welcome, and always available for any questions. The place was really nice and decorated with taste. The quiet and pleasant environment. The pool is lovely and the kids were happy to discover the three-wheeled bike. Thank you again for your welcome, your sympathy and the exchanges before our arrival ( with Fabienne) which have always been responsive! We think we'll come back later and wish you a very nice continuity!

We had a very good weekend in Muriel and Marco's cottage. The house is very well equipped, ideal for 4 couples. The 2nd outdoor bathroom was not a problem (in this season at least). The bravest were able to enjoy the swimming pool (a little cool still) very well equipped. Muriel and Marco are very friendly and available. Thank you again...

A great weekend of May 8 with family, we know how to visit the Zoo du Pal which is only 25 km from the cottage, 8 minutes hypermarket, gas station, tobacco, bakery and restaurants. We recommend the cottage, it is in a green space, the children could play outside.

Beauvoir's cottage is extremely pleasant and comfortable. It is very spacious and located on a very peaceful and inspiring site. The house is very well equipped and very tastefully decorated. It's great for family or friends gatherings for a few days or longer. We recommend it unreservedly.

An immaculate, comfortable house in a beautiful village. As a disabled traveller accessible places can be very hard to find but this house is as close to ideal as we have found. Hopefully we’ll return soon.

A native Nivernais, I came back to spend 3 days in the area, this time with my little family. We were delighted by the quality of the place, the huge garden, the atmosphere like no other, the ideal games room to occupy and cut the children from the screens, and of course, in the charm of the farm visit. A big thank you to Adeline and her tribe for hosting, the Nièvre could not have had better ambassadors
