Casa da Piedade is a welcoming refuge in total harmony with nature, where comfort and tranquility are priorities. Located in Portagem, at the foot of the Marvão mountain range, it is a 3-minute walk from the local pools and a 10 minute drive from the castle. Cozy cottage, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S.Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of indigenous flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the river Sever and a stream that invites to refreshing baths for its countless waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
