Holiday rentals with lake access in Altamaha River

The Lakefront Carriage House is beautifully situated on a private lake in a residential neighborhood right between Savannah and Tybee, making it the perfect home-away-from-home for enjoying the area. We appreciated the bright, modernist decor, and the host was very friendly and responsive. I wish the gas tank for the fire pit was full, and I would definitely recommend bringing bug spray, but overall we loved our stay and can't wait to return!

Carmelo & Claudia thought of everything! Their house is a home just waiting for you. So comfortable, extremely well stocked, cleaner than a 5-star hotel! My kids loved the games, ping pong, but especially exploring the yard for frogs and lizards and turtles. We were all amazed at how quiet it was too! We are already planning a longer trip back to Savannah and hands-down we would stay here! Thank you Carmelo and Claudia for a wonderful stay!

Horses and nature haven! Very nice farmhouse rental... Accommodations are very large and spacious with plenty of room. Well stocked with all the necessary home furnishings and utensils. Super rustic and fits the beautiful picturesque farm setting. Outside you will find a beautiful sprawling horse ranch, secluded among beautiful nature. Location overall sits in between Okefenokee reserve and minutes from i-95 with 30 min access to Jekyll Island. The host is responsive and provided clear instructions. It was easy to check in even though we were getting late due to storms. We would love to come back and enjoy the serenity of this beautiful ranch.

Our stay at Eugenia place was awesome the house felt warm and Inviting she was also very respectful to our needs when ever we reached out to her Eugenia responded and answered questions and even had her Husband to come and help us out a couple of times he was pleasant and very friendly we really appreciate him for that thank you for sharing your home with us Rosemary Hall

We loved our stay at Marilyn's place! The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable and spacious. The included bikes were a big bonus. My husband and I biked everywhere we went!

This property was fantastic for our family. The open concept was a major hit for my little kiddos and the view was peaceful. The Murphy bed in the living room was comfortable and allowed an extra sleeping space that suited us. The large island in the kitchen made dinner a breeze and the detachable shower handles were a hit with my kids as well as the foosball table. Would definitely rent here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place! Everything was really clean and comfortable. There is some noise from the pool area if that would bother you. First day someone was playing loud music most the day at the pool. While i liked there music selection it was annoying after a while. After they left everything was fine. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

This place suited ALL our purposes: within ten minutes of our targeted locations, places to eat and services close, all appliances worked, beds were comfortable, sufficient quality linens and paper products, and a super responsive host! Kitchen had sufficient quality items (nice mugs! sharp knives!) and was spotless. Parking was easy and the neighborhood was quiet. The published description was EXACTLY what we experienced. We love the cottage and it 's location was great. We where able to get to every where. Lori and Don thought of everything that you would need to make your stay more comfortable. They made sure that we had everything we needed. They had tons of brochures of everything you could do. Plus certain items you might of forgot to pack. We enjoyed the cottage. Everything worked well, the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and sitting at the deck watching the flying fish every day. Definitely well worth the money. We would like to stay again

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The swing bed on the porch is fabulous! I could have stayed there the whole time. It is such an easy trip to the beach with the golf cart.

Perfect home base for our family of three, mainly for birding at Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge, but we also did a day trip to Savannah and had a nice lunch in Darien. Place was easy to find and had everything we needed to do our own cooking.

We loved our stay at Marsh Tide cottage, perfect Sapelo getaway, quiet, tidal, avian, surrounded by marsh magic. Kayak access/use a bonus! The space is also super accommodating/welcoming for families. Thank you Linda Michelle for your hospitality and making logistics easeful to navigate.
