This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. One-bedroom cabin w/ air conditioner, heaters, queen bed, full kitchen, living area, and bathroom with hot shower & indoor dry-flush toilet (does not use water). TV, Wifi, linens, dishes, coffee/tea, breakfast foods, fridge/freezer, microwave, fire pit, picnic table, and more! Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Explore our 5 acre property and visit the small pond in back. Please ensure pets are leashed - we have ducks. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house.

Mountain Shack with friendly animals and a view!

Hey Y'all!, we are offering a small shack (which was scheduled to be a portion our Boy Barn). It's 10x12 feet, furnished with a daybed with two twin mattresses. There is a retro DVD TV, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and hot plate. Up our driveway and behind our home, you have use of an outdoor half bath and internet access. Behind the shack you have a private bonfire, hammock deck, a composting toilet and a covered area with a clay grill in an outdoor cooking area.

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.
