Family-friendly holiday rentals in Alvignac

Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Super séjour ! Les hôtes sont très sympas et accueillants. Le logement est propre, confortable et bien équipé, exactement comme décrit. Très bien situé, avec plusieurs villes sympas à proximité pour les visites.

Wij hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf bij Dominique. De omgeving is prachtig, rustig en charmant. De gîte heeft een authentieke stijl, was zeer goed onderhouden en erg goed voorzien. Ons dochtertje (1,5 jaar) was een grote fan van de geitjes en schaapjes op het domein. Supermarkten, stadjes, marktjes, wandelingen,… alles is zeer dichtbij. Absoluut een aanrader!

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Un grand merci à Cathy pour sa réactivité avec notre demande de réservation au dernier moment. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec des instructions claires et toutes les informations sur les activités à faire dans la région qui est magnifique. Notre séjour a été super, le logement est très joli et fonctionnel avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Nous avions même ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus avec une superbe vue. Une adresse à retenir !

Wer eine ruhige Oase im Grünen sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Die Aussicht ist herrlich, der Sonnenuntergang ein Traum. Das Baumhaus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, in der Küche sind die wichtigsten Utensilien vorhanden, damit man gut zu Hause kochen kann. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es unzählige kleine beschauliche Dörfer, welche zu den schönsten Orten Frankreichs zählen. In der Vorsaison sind einige Aktivitäten, wie z.B. Kanufahren, meist noch nicht offen, was uns nicht störte, da wir uns vor allem aufs Wandern und Ausruhen konzentrierten. Anne ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin - bei Fragen war sie schnell erreichbar und kam wenn nötig kurz vorbei. Gerne wieder :-)

We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la Florelie. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique, calme et reposant. Relaxation totale. Merci à Simon pour son accueil ainsi que a beau et Belle ;) Je recommande et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et en partie grâce a l'emplacement du logement, direct dans le quartier historique, parking a proximité, jardin public à deux pas idéal pour le chien, grand choix de restaurant ,simple pour sortir et visiter autour de Sarlat. Dans l'appartement tout y est , très fonctionnel

Logement parfait pour séjour. Proche des commerces et des axes routiers, la maison est proche de la nature. Sébastien est un hôte accueillant qui mets facilement à l'aise, et réponds à nos besoins . la maison est bien agencée, propre correspond au photo. La proximité d'un sentier de randonnée en bas des marches de la maison est idéal pour des ballades avec un animal. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Quel charme en arrivant à Marcillac-Saint-Quentin ! L'allée révèle un parc arboré et soigné avec une grande piscine partagée. Un accueil exceptionnel de la part de Mariette et Jacques ! Mariette discrète, attentionnée, d'une grande douceur et générosité a le sens de l'accueil. La maison en pierre apparente, dispose d'un jardin privatif avec table, transats et BBQ. - Au RDC, la fraîcheur est la bienvenue : Cuisine équipée, Salon Louis Philippe, mobilier rénové. Majestueuse cheminée ouverte, prête à être allumée. Encore une belle attention. - À l'étage 2 chambres spacieuses, soignées elles aussi. Literie et linge de qualité. Plaisir dès le matin d'ouvrir les fenêtres, d'écouter le chant des oiseaux et d'observer l'écureuil sauter d'arbre en arbre. La maison située à 10 min de Sarlat, non loin de Lascaux, est parfaite pour se reconnecter à la nature. C'est un havre de paix avec une belle énergie. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Je recommande vivement.

Appartement calme,très bien situé avec vue exceptionnelle , conforme aux photos. Confortable, bonne literie. Seul bémol : les rideaux occultants des chambres ne sont pas efficaces , ils laissent passer le jour. Arrivée et départ flexibles et faciles.

Je recommande vivement le joli logement de Jean Yves. Situé dans un petit village typique du Cœur de Causse, au calme, nous avons profité en famille de notre séjour Lotois. Jean Yves est au top,tres accueillant, réactif, nous reviendrons sûrement !.

Lieu chaleureux dans un cadre très agréable. Le gîte est joliment aménagé. Très confortable pour 2 personnes. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la petite terrasse en herbe juste derrière . Philippe est très accueillant et bienveillant. Ses attentions et ses conseils étaient appréciables . Les voisins sympathiques également. Dès que nous en aurons l'occasion , nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

This was our second stay at La Mirabelle, and the house is great with lovely views across the valley. The surrounding area is great as there is so much to see and do and most places are easy to get to. Babara and Robert are great too, they are so friendly and attentive, they also speak really good English too.

Un très bon séjour dans ce gîte rénové avec goût il ne manque rien et l’extérieur est un gros plus , propreté irréprochable Francis est très sympathique et accueillant ,une très bonne adresse pour visiter la vallée du lot

Beynac et Cazanac is such a stunning setting and we were back for a second visit. Catherine's place is absolutely perfect, the pictures, although beautiful don't live up to the real thing. It is magical. The bedrooms are all lovely, comfortable beds, pillows and lovely linens. Each room has it's own charm. And there are 2.5 bathrooms! The kitchen is fully equipped and the living room lovely but we were so lucky to have a sunny and warm week in mid September that we were outside for all meals and most of the time. We were in the pool a few times each day and could not get enough of the view. Lots to watch on the river as it was full of bright canoes every day. Hot air balloons floated by most every day, some almost close enough to touch. At night the castles are lit up in the distance...simply stunning. The town is so historic with cobbled streets and medieval houses, no surprise movies are filmed here. But the best part is how peaceful it is, hard to leave. Great shops too

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Exceptionnel ! nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille. l'intérieur comme l'extérieur étaient très adaptés à nos attentes et même au delà ;) Des activités et des lieux à visiter tout près...Merci Bertrand !

Just had the most amazing week here, the pictures really do not do the gardens and views justice!! Such a peaceful setting but with lots of sights and attractions near-by, however a car is essential. The gite had everything we could need to relax, wine and dine in an evening. The pool and view was lovely, just perfect to relax by after a day out exploring. We are already planning we we can return!

nous avons passé un excellent week-end en famille dans "la petite maison dans la prairie" de Yan. Hôte disponible et accueillant, heure d arrivée et de départ flexibles. tout était parfait. très belle région avec plein de belles choses à visiter. je recommande

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans le gîte d'Émilie. Il est très bien placé car à proximité de jolis villages comme Autoire, Loubressac, Carennac, Beaulieu sur Dordogne... et de sites à voir absolument comme le Gouffre de Padirac ou Rocamadour. Le gîte se trouve dans une belle propriété au calme. Il bénéficie d'une terrasse et la piscine est top ! Le propriétaire l'allume le soir pour se baigner dans des eaux colorées lors des chaudes soirées d'été. Superbe vue depuis la piscine. Les escaliers pour grimper aux chambres sont en revanche très raides. La clim est installée dans la 1e chambre ce qui est très appréciable quand il fait chaud mais la chambre du 2e étage manque un peu de fraîcheur. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et on se sent comme chez soi. Je recommande.

Notre séjour à Monfort a été extrèmement agréable. Quel bonheur de boire son café dans le jardin le matin face au château de Monfort. Certes le logement se trouve juste à coté de la route (donc si vous voulez du silence totale ce ne sera pas le cas) mais la vue et les environs font de ce logement un endroit tout à fait exceptionnel, ce qui en fait oublier ce petit désagrément. Morgane a été une hôte charmante et tout à fait à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour une pause hors du temps. Merci pour tout!

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.
