This home is a pearl! It exactly matches the description. Trust the photos. This is one of the best Airbnbs we've found. The location is ideal for exploring, the hamlet is very quiet, the environment is serene. The house is old but very recently renovated with a lot of taste. Modern elements blend perfectly with the old. The whole place is very comfortable and neat. The bedding is perfect and the complete equipment is in perfect condition. Everything is impeccably clean! Delphine and Nathalie offered us a beautiful, clean and well-appointed accommodation. The equipment is largely sufficient for a vacation stay with friends or family. Our two hosts are extremely kind and perfectly attentive to the slightest problem. We had a great stay with them, to recommend without hesitation!

Le Gîte Le Cantou, hosted by Patricia and Didier, is a delightful find that made our stay truly special. Their hospitality is spot-on—discreet yet always there when you need them, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The gîte is impeccably clean, which immediately put us at ease. While the kitchen is quite small, the cookware is a standout, with high-quality pots, pans, and utensils that make cooking a pleasure despite the compact space. The location is a real highlight. Nestled in a quiet private garden, the gîte feels like a peaceful retreat, yet it’s just a short walk to nearby shops. The balance of seclusion and convenience is perfect. The walking trails right from the doorstep are stunning, winding through lush green countryside that feels refreshing and serene. The local farmers’ markets are a treat, packed with fresh produce and delicious regional specialties that inspired our meals. Patricia and Didier have created a lovely, comfortable escape, and we’d happily return.

Veronique’s place is a little gem. Colourful and filled with beautiful object, very comfortable, small but cozy. We enjoyed the location, the peace and Veronique.

An exceptional stay: a beautiful house, very friendly hosts and a very beautiful garden! We enjoyed spending time on the terrace as the calm and view are soothing! Our 2 small dogs also enjoyed the fenced outside. Lots of nice villages to visit in the area and walks to do. Thank you to Nathalie and Bernard for their welcome and kindness!

Very nice place, nice host and available for guests. The only downside we had was perhaps the lack of outlets in the accommodation. We didn't think of it, but we should have asked for an extension cord or a double socket.

The accommodation is located in the countryside, quiet; ideal for resting, even for a single night. The welcome by the owners was very friendly and having a cold beer in the refrigerator when we arrived was a nice little extra.

We had a wonderful time in the idyllically located apartment of Christiane and Bernard. Everything was as described, the spacious space and the unique view even exceeded our expectations. The hosts are particularly friendly and helpful and responded to our questions within a very short time. The place is the perfect base from which to explore the area rich in attractions and attractions. We just regret that we don't speak French, we would have liked to have talked to the charming hosts for longer😉.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

The contact with Jérémy was easy and smooth. Very smiling, punctual and clear in his explanations, he knows how to put you at ease from the start. The apartment corresponded in all respects to the description, it is modern, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and is much larger in reality. It is also very well located in Brive, the hyper center is about ten minutes' walk. Finally, the parking space is an undeniable asset.

We didn't miss anything in the 9 days we were there. If we had a question, we only had to message her, she always responded quickly and kindly. Fortunately, there is a translation function in the airbnb chat, and with Google translate we went a long way, despite our language barrier. The apartment is very centrally located to visit a large part of the Lot and the Corréze. We recommend this apartment! Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Pascale is particularly friendly and welcoming and the village is quite charming. We enjoyed the large shower and the outdoor space for dining outdoors. The road that passes in front of the cottage is not very busy, so quiet is guaranteed. We'd love to come back.
