The apartment is located in a very calm neighborhood where normal Portuguese live with local habits (and prices), 30 minutes from the center of Lisbon, Belém or Sintra by public transport (even less by car). Free and easy parking on the street. It is a functional apartment with 78m², fully equipped, close to a small public garden, where with luck you can see green parrots flying in the early morning and late afternoon.

Sara is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. She is friendly, helpful, always available and doing everything she can to make your stay comfortable. Room was really spacious and really had no problem with it, it has a big window and a fan for when it gets hot. It is really close to the amadora train station which will take you to Lisboa’s center in 15 mins and to the Rede Expresso bus terminal in 10. There’s also various cheap restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay here again.

I had a lovely time with Lunna! I felt so welcomed by her and her family - they were so friendly and helpful. Honestly they will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and to give local recommendations, etc. We had some lovely chats, which was great as I was solo traveling and it was nice to socialise a little bit. My room was very relaxing and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and I slept very well during the week I was there. I really enjoyed staying here. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful place with a family feel, and who doesn’t mind the commute into Lisbon (I didn’t mind at all and used the time to read my book!). 10ish minutes to the metro station for those who walk fast (or like €3 for an uber), and then 20 min on the metro to get into the city center. It was really good value for money in my opinion, and I really can’t stress enough how lovely the hosts are :)
