Waterfront holiday rentals in Amatique Bay

This was my was my second time staying at the beautiful apartment. It is home away from home. Safe environment, comfortable and on the beach. It was a great pleasure. I cannot wait to return.

this place was an architectural dream! everywhere we turned was another gem to behold! we had a bit of an issue with the heating in the hot tub but management came by to help us out. only thing I wish they were more clear on in the listing is that the second bed is a foam pad that is kept under the dining room table. other than that, I'd totally come back to this one of a kind airbnbs!

I really enjoyed our stay. The secluded location feel while being close to everything. Everything was exactly as advertised and the concierge type of service was much appreciated. I hope to come back and enjoy your property and Belize again, maybe sometime when it's a touch cooler. Thanks again for the wonderful stay.

This place was perfect for our week in Placencia. it is conveniently located just off "the Sidewalk" (which is at the heart of Placencia) but was quiet and relaxing. The views from the front porch were fabulous. We had direct access to the beach and enjoyed the hammock and swing. The kitchen is adequate and more than adequate for what we needed (lots of great restaurants within easy walking distance). The washer and dryer were a huge bonus!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

Our stay was great the host was responsive. The home is farther north on the peninsula which I knew and liked. If you like to travel inland this is a great location, it saves you many bumps and time. I will say with the store closing in Maya Beach currently you have to go to Seine Bight or Santa Cruz to find a grocery store. Hopefully the Maya Beach store will reopen soon. I would definitely stay here again. The beach was nice and great for swimming you can wade very far out, we also used the kayaks. The neighbors are friendly and it is a very quiet area. We stayed in one of the two lower suites and my only complaint is that the noise from the chairs above being scooted across the floor is horrible. They need a pad placed on the legs. We had a family of 8 staying above us 6 of the days and there was lots of noise from the chairs being moved around. It is a very loud screeching sound. Other than that we had no complaints. We look forward to staying gain.

Karen’s place exceeded our expectations. We do not like to travel to areas that are packed with tourists. Staying at Sittee Point was perfect- the village of Hopkins had everything we needed and the vibe was so peaceful. The home and beach area were perfect for our family’s needs. We had access to everything we needed for a wonderful week in Belize. Karen was very responsive to our questions, the caretaker Brian was very helpful as well, and the boat captain Steven was a treasure. If/when we find ourselves planning a trip to Belize again, we will definitely want to stay at Karen’s place.

Check in was easy she met us at door. Location was great right next to the beach and a Hotel with a restaurant and swimming pool, which you could pay to use. Security was good. Our team was in town to do some water projects in the surrounding towns and schools and it was a good central base to operate out of and come back to at the end of a long day. Only thing was the GPS map coordinates on the website were wrong.

Wow! This place was truly a home away from home plus! Everything we needed was there with the added bonus of a water dispenser with plenty of water! Martin, the property manager was very responsive and incredibly helpful! He even went out of his way to help us when my husband forgot his fishing rod. There was a fantastic notebook in the living room area with instructions for everything in the house, and it included recommendations for restaurants and activities. We went to some of the restaurants and went on a couple of the suggested activities, and they were wonderful! The services provided by the suggested companies couldn't have been better! An excellent place to vacation on the weekend, very well equipped with everything you need for activities, a very nice pool and its surroundings. The house is very clean and with everything 100%. Recommended. We have visited it several times and it maintains a high standard.

The house was very comfortable and views were amazing. We loved having our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The location is not near the main village so would recommend having your own transportation. The kitchen had everything you'd need so we didn't have to purchase a bunch of additional items like spices. Bed was comfortable and the overall living space was great.

An incredible place to wander with excellent conditions and proximity to the beach and Tela pier. It's definitely worth it and we'll be visiting the villas again. Gissela was very kind and helped us coordinate every detail and was aware of us.

This villa was in a great location, in the center of the peninsula, making everything equally accessible. The space was very clean and the AC worked great! We really enjoyed the pool in the evenings and the view of the sea while swimming. The restaurant across the road has a perfect view of the sunset. The sunrise view from the balcony of the villa was so wonderful! We extended our stay because we enjoyed the villa so much.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Wonderful location, off the beaten path but easy to get to everything. You will want a golf cart. Edwin and his family are lovely.

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

Thank you for all your help and support. The places it’s wonderful and I always recommend to go to Tela and Indura to my friends. The Condo it’s beautiful and easy access. The lobby personnel is nice and helpful all the time.

a wonderful place to disconnect and enjoy with the family. The apartment is just like the photos, very clean and above all private. The host is very attentive and his manager Tony is very helpful and always available for anything that came up during the stay. Highly recommended. We would definitely come back

David’s place was great! The view is spectacular and totally worth the $$$$. Only suggestion I have is bring your own coffee, condiments, spices, etc if you plan on cooking or having coffee.
