Irma was such a communicative, attentive and gracious host. And the house itself is wonderful- nestled in the mountains of Ocotitlan with a stunning hike only minutes away. I highly recommend this airbnb. Very comfortable, all the amenities you need. Right across the street is a lovely little restaurant with pizzas and empanadas. :)

Alonso's house was exactly what we were looking for. Our trip to Amatlán was representative of seeking a different pace of life than that of Mexico City --- we were looking for silence and connection (with nature, people and ourselves), and we really found that in this little bungalow in the mountains. The doors of the bungalow open onto a huge garden that surrounds the house. There are trees of all kinds and a beautiful view. The bungalow is very comfortable and, to be honest, SUPER WELL DECORATED. I loved it and thanks to that I realized how important decoration is in a space. The feeling we had here was delicious. Highly recommended. It has a little Acapulco bench outside the bungalow where you can rest and enjoy the peace, very comfortable. I would like to clarify that there are several cats on the property. We love them and enjoy them. The main thing is that Alonso is super cool. He is a great person. Very kind and very friendly. He is a being with whom connecting is a great experience. Thank you, Alonso!

The owner is very nice and everything is great. There are a lot of insects, but you are in a paradise in the middle of nature and it is to be expected.
