What an outstanding stay! Yasemin's home was exactly as described. The location was absolutely perfect! We had the pleasure of meeting Yasemin and she was just the most delightful, informative, communicative host. When we arrived the house was pristine. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The chair with the white seat you see in photos? That chair is THE best people watching spot morning or night. Watch the boats go by the canal with your coffee in the morning. Then head out and you're in the middle of everything (but it's not at all loud, it's a very peaceful space). It was just a very special stay because Yasemin is a top-notch host with a location that cannot be beat. Highly recommend!

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

This place is quirky - just like we expected Fabulous to sit out and chill on the canal - right outside of the property This property is very traditional so do not expect sleek modern finishes in all areas It was an amazing traditional visit

We had four great days in the accommodation (three of us). The location of the accommodation is excellent, in a busy area and yet somewhat secluded, as it is above the harbor basin. The view from the roof terrace is super beautiful in the morning, as well as in the evening. Spacious apartment with space. In the kitchen block, a few things are missing (cutting board, sieve) and there is no real oven, only a large multifunctional device with grill function and microwave. The excursion destinations are super diverse and there is something for everyone (sporting activities on the water and outside), trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht, bike tours, museums... Catherine or the colleagues from the port office are always available during the day if you have any questions. Note: The accommodation can only be reached via an external spiral staircase. We spend a weekend in Robert's place. It was very peaceful and beautiful in the middle of an awesome location for hiking and biking. They provided everything we needed for our stay. We will gladly book this place next time we are in the area.

Mo is a wonderful person. Extremely polite and willing to help with any problem or question you may have. Very helpful, I recommend staying with him to everyone. The place is extremely quiet and comfortable, and the atmosphere is pleasant. His dog Alba makes the experience even better. He helped me with everything I needed throughout my stay. The apartment is in a great location, about 10-15 mins walk from the central station, Nieuwmarkt, Rembrandtplein etc. The apartment itself is funky and has lots of art and souvenirs from their travels around the world which makes it interesting and feel like home. There is a great view across the canal and two balconies. The facilities are just as described with everything you need for a few days or more. We were welcomed by the owner’s son who was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for your time in Amsterdam. Thanks for a great stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality made all the difference. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

An absolutely perfect location from which to enjoy the city! It's a short tram ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go in town, and a short walk to lots of restaurants, shops, and lovely canal views. In the summer, being on the top floor may make the inside a bit too warm, but the windows open wide and the rooftop outdoor patio is large, surprisingly quiet, and perfect for relaxation, eating, and conversation if the weather is nice. In other words, the true Amsterdam canal-house stair climb is well worth the effort. Overall a very comfortable studio flat, good wifi connection, and a responsive and respectful host. We had an absolutely wonderful three-day stay in Amsterdam! Tanju was incredibly welcoming and warm from the moment we arrived. He took the time to recommend many places to visit, from must-see tourist spots to lesser-known local gems. Thanks to his advice, we were really able to fully enjoy our stay and discover unique aspects of the city. The apartment was impeccable, comfortable and perfectly located, which made getting around very easy. Again, thank you for this exceptional experience. We will come back without hesitation and recommend this host without a second thought!

A fantastic New Year break with the family . We were 6 adults and found the house to be a great base . It was so comfortable, I think in previous reviews someone had mentioned the beds and they were definitely some of the best we have stayed in. The kitchen was fully equipped , so the night we decided to eat in was very easy. We used the bus stop from outside the house to travel into Utrecht and on to Amsterdam with ease . We walked to the local shops and found everyone very friendly . A beautiful location, we’d definitely recommend and hopefully return . Thank you Victoria and Yolanda!!

There were five of us in Michel's accommodation over the Pentecost weekend, as we wanted to explore Amsterdam – and it was exactly the right choice! The house was very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable. Especially practical: There was a parking space right in the courtyard, so we could easily drive to the center of Amsterdam (about 40–50 minutes). The surroundings in Almere were also very nice and quiet – ideal for relaxing after an eventful day. Communication with Michel was excellent, he was always available and had many helpful tips for us. We would come back anytime – highly recommended!

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

Very nice house with plenty of space in a quiet location very close to Amsterdam. Great with kids and for cat lovers. Plenty of space for the whole family with garden and many recreational opportunities. We'll be back.

The property is located in a very quiet corner, but not too far away from the nearest larger places. It was all very clean and just as described.

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!
