Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Amherst County

I love to hike and when I was on here looking for a place(I'm from Ga) I kept moving the map around and OMG this place called out to me. As I drove up, it looked like a post card. I could not stop smiling. THEN... I walked in and I was truly amazed. I loved everything about this place. My entire stay I saw 3 vehicles (1 was Amazon/I ordered stuff). I would get up every morning, and as I had my coffee I would see deer and they would come back around 8pm. Lots of wildlife and that's what I wanted. A must stay!!!

Our stay with Wanda was such a peaceful experience! My family came to stay for graduation and we felt right at home !! I would highly recommend if you want a space that feels like a home away from home! Also dog friendly with a great yard :)

Wow! What an amazing place! We had so much fun! There is plenty of space inside—7 bedrooms and 6 baths—with plenty of places to congregate. Front porch, back porch, fire pit and other outside seating areas are wonderful! The huge house was clean and inviting. It is a wonderful escape!

Kelsey’s place was exactly as advertised!! Super clean. Well stocked. Very comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome. The screen porch was great for morning coffee and watching the deer. We would recommend to everyone and hope to return next year.

Our family of seven spent two nights here to have family Thanksgiving, The drive to the house is very beautiful with mountains in the distance. The house was very spacious and clean. The integrity of the farm house itself is very warm, with many of the original floors and woodwork. The game room in the basement is a plus. Morning walks down by the creek give you an opportunity to be connected to nature. Very special visit and most definitely would recommend this charming home to others. Thank you Shantina for such a great adventure!

The property was perfect - clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area with incredible views. The sauna and hot tub were great additions - including the Turkish towels. Kitchen had everything you would need for preparing meals. We loved the fire pit and outdoor furniture and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The hosts were responsive and communicated quickly and easily. Just a short drive to Liberty University. We didn’t want to leave and wished the weekend could go on! An enjoyable weekend away from Pittsburgh for some much-needed peace and quiet. Hope to be back!

The home is lovely. The kitchen is well-appointed for making meals at home. The living room is comfortable and well-suited for hanging out. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the pool and the wooded area around the home, gave us the opportunity to see deer and other forms of wildlife. The area is quiet and we felt totally relaxed being at the house. There’s plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Shawana Lynn and her husband are consummate hosts. They left snack and toiletry baskets, which we found to be very thoughtful and handy since we had forgotten our body wash. They provide plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows so guests can customize their comfort levels. Any issues that came up when we were there were quickly and graciously addressed. The amenities are perfect for a relaxing stay in the mountains. We also really enjoyed the location. It’s a beautiful area with hikes, nature drives, wineries and breweries. We had a blast here and we would totally stay again.

We loved our stay here! Upon arrival we were met with a perfectly clean place alongside free snacks and other amenities. The unique style of the cabin by itself made it a fun stay but combined with how well kept Gretchen had the place and all the fun things to do in the cabin made it an outstanding stay.

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

Great place to stay. Very private and quiet. Meticulously maintained and everything was thought of from coffee selection to the extras. WiFi fast. Might have been me but would have like to be able to log into my own Netflix account. Everything you need was there. GPS go us there but the sharp right turn at the end is not the right way. Go left instead. I can’t say enough good things about this place and Delores. Already looking for time to come back. Would love for it to be small pet(<20lbs) friendly!! Thank you Delores. Well worth the price!!

We had a great stay celebrating our 10 year anniversary and also a birthday. The house has everything you could need and we loved cooking on the grill and loved that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The house is the perfect layout for kids and dogs as well and the hot tub felt amazing after we hiked Crabtree Falls. The proximity to town and the local pie shop was perfect. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to come stay again.

Place was as described very private and secluded. We really enjoyed it, we came with the dog the one thing to note it is in the woods so there were a lot of ticks but other than that it was very pleasant stay.
