Waterfront holiday rentals in Amoreira

The apartment was beyond our expectations! We loved everything: large balcony with view and location close to everything (a few minutes from the beach!). If you want to visit Nazaré, this is the apartment for you. Only downside: Bed a little hard, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Everything at apartment was as advertised. Hugo provided us with great information about area and seemed to show genuine interest in make our trip enjoyable.

Had a great time here. The apartment looks as cozy as in the pictures. You are less than 5-10 minutes' walk from the beach and a couple of great restaurants. For more activities, you can also drive 5 minutes to the neighboring town where you can, for example, dine outside on the beach at sunset or rent surfboards for a couple of days. Not far from the apartment, there is even the possibility of paragliding. A kind of children's paradise is also not far away. Tania and Tiago, were extremely friendly and always helpful.

We can’t say enough about this property. It just might be our favourite Airbnb ever and certainly was the best we stayed in through our month in Portugal. The apartment is super clean, bright, spacious, well appointed and the views are amazing. The linens were very clean and there was a second set of towels (a bonus!) for us to use, plus more than one kitchen towel (a first for our travels in Portugal). The kitchen is very well stocked (but not cluttered!) for preparing simple or more complicated meals. The location is AMAZING! Just a block from the beach and a wonderfully easy walk to restaurants, bars, shopping and activities. But, in the evening, we could sit on the balcony, watch the sun set and it was very peaceful and quiet. If we are back in the area again, which we hope to be, I’d be very disappointed not to stay in this unit.

All in all, a very nice accommodation, not directly on the sea but more than 5 min walk to the lagoon or more than 10 min to the real sea. There's nothing to complain about.

Very spacious and quiet , with stunning views! You feel at home right away. There is a small cafe/bakery just next door and we found it easy to walk (if you didn't want to drive) into town along the coastline which was beautiful! The Ribeira beach is very close and you can basically check the wave status from your bedroom. It was very windy when we were there, so it was difficult to sit on the patio, but the back patio is enclosed with a small table, great place to have breakfast and look at the ocean and country side. Highly recommend!

The place was super cozy, especially the large living/dining room we liked. The location is ideal, especially with rental car. You can get everywhere quickly and always get a parking space in front of the apartment.

Excellent location a short walk from the beach, restaurants and shopping, and the funicular to the top of the cliff. However, the area can also be noisy at night with people enjoying the town, so perhaps not for light sleepers. Parking can be challenging, but the hosts had some helpful advice. Very clean and comfortable, this is a great base for a trip to Nazaré.

We had a great experience at the home. It was modern, had everything we needed and a well-equipped kitchen. The house has several balconies and a fantastic terrace that is sheltered, which is nice as it is very windy on the beach sometimes. We quickly got help from Nuno when we needed it and also tips on restaurants. The accommodation is in a quiet residential area and the only thing we have to complain about (which is probably the same wherever you live) is that there are a lot of dogs in the area and they bark a lot. If you are afraid of dogs or have children, it may be good to know, but as I said, it is probably the same in most places. Everything was great and we couldn't have wished for a better accommodation for our trip to Peniche. Thank you!

This place was absolutely fantastic for our family holiday. The place was extremely well equipped, modern & clean. The house is beautiful. The host was very responsive in recommendations for places to eat and beaches etc.

Highly recommend! Comfortably furnished and excellently equipped accommodation – in a great, very quiet location with beautiful excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity. Communication with David and Stijn was smooth and very friendly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Kristof and Frederik are two very friendly and uncomplicated hosts and have furnished their apartment with a lot of taste, foresight and expertise. The high-quality mattresses, the external roller shutters and the technically flawless equipment are particularly noteworthy. Additional kitchen knives were delivered immediately. Even unusual amenities were thought of: dehumidifiers in the wardrobes, which can be very helpful in the humid sea climate, and a small selection of wines. Thank you so much for everything!

Great apartment with an amazing view and 3 swimming pools. We loved it and would love to come back sometime when the weather is better!

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!
