Единственный недостаток, этого жилья, это то что в нём настолько хорошо, что вам не захочется никуда выходить. Качели на балконе с видом, это что-то нереальное. К тому же, вы можете заказать завтрак или ужин прямо здесь, заранее, у хозяйки. И он будет вкусным и очень доступным. Так же можно заказать поездку по окрестностям, на тук-туке, по разумной цене. Обязательно сделайте это. В общем сняв этот номер, вы получите абсолютно всё что вам нужно.

I had a great time at Namal's place and would definitely come back here when visiting Ella again. I can recommend it wholeheartedly, Namal is very friendly and welcoming, the room has many amenities and decoration is done with great care. Also, the view is fantastic. The typical Sri Lanka breakfast tastes good and is a well-sized portion for 2$. Ask Namal for recommendations for sightseeing and walk along the railroad tracks for easy access to the city :)

These are the sweetest people. Nimalka made us breakfast each morning which was delicious and even arranged for her husband to tuk tuk us around for a day to see waterfalls and the tea plantation. He is also wonderful! The place is only a short 12-15 minute walk from the busy road in Ella with many fun restaurants and bars. You can also walk to the nine arches bridge path and Little Adam’s Peak (longer - about an hour) from the property. Nimalka even gave us a takeaway breakfast the night before because we had an early safari departure, which was just above and beyond. We had a lovely and very comfortable stay. Thank you again for everything!

Ich kann mich den sehr positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Auch für mich war dies ein sehr besonderer Ort! Das Guest House liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig fußläufig zum Ort. Nachdem die Tage zuvor etwas anstrengend und chaotisch waren, konnte ich hier direkt zur Ruhe kommen und die Akkus aufladen. Weit weg von allen Touristenströmen… Krishan und sein Team waren zudem sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Als wir da waren, haben wir uns kurzfristig für eine Safari entschieden, die Krishan für uns organisiert hat. Für uns war diese allein unter dem Gesichtspunkt möglich, dass diese im Respekt zur Natur- und Tierwelt durchgeführt wird. Dies war im Maduru Oya Nationalpark auf jeden Fall erfüllt. Wir haben 2x das Curry genossen, was absolut köstlich war. Unabhängig von der Safari, einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Sri Lanka. Danke Krishan!

Ein wunderschöner Ort inmitten der Natur und ein wahres Paradies für alle, die daraus Kraft ziehen! Die Umgebung ist atemberaubend, voller Ruhe und ursprünglicher Schönheit. Wir konnten abschalten, zur Ruhe kommen und neue Energie tanken. Anne und John waren abwesend, doch Jasmine, Manoj und das Team haben alles mit Hingabe, Wärme und Herzlichkeit geleitet, sodass wir uns sofort Zuhause fühlten. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und ihr Engagement machten unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich, und wir sind unglaublich dankbar, sie kennengelernt zu haben. Das Essen war fantastisch, jede Mahlzeit ein Highlight und mit sehr viel Liebe und Mühe zubereitet. Unser Zimmer war einfach, aber wie beschrieben. Wer mehr Komfort möchte, kann eine der anderen Optionen wählen. Auch Annes Kommunikation war hervorragend, trotz Abwesenheit organisierte sie alles zuverlässig aus der Ferne. Wir nehmen viele sehr schöne Erinnerungen mit und sind dankbar für diese besondere Zeit!

We had a budget room with ensuite on the family balcony. Both bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean. The family is super friendly and always helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and transportation options. Note that there is no kitchen available for this room, contrary to the listing. They offer a convenient Tuk Tuk service for better prices than you could find in Ella town. The walk to Ella town is slightly long, however, there is a shortcut via the train rails.

The stay in the Gamini’s home was the silver lining of my trip. The house was very beautifully decorated with a good sense of taste (I took some pictures of their home and glad they like them as well). Our room is very clean and has the local flavor of display. The location is a bit hard to find, but Gamini was so kind that he drove himself to show directions for our driver. The Gamini family was so warm to introduce their pretty little garden (we had a chance to taste their fresh vege salad, amazing!) and it turned out to be an awesome mini garden tour. We also had a very good evening sitting at the garden and chatting about family and their experiences. In the next morning, I was lucky to join their activities in the temple where I sent the prepared food to monks. It was so authentic experience that cannot be found in tourists places. Just as Gamini described, it is a lovely and peaceful place to get away from the noise. A strong recommendation for those who love nature and nice ppl

Хорошее и чистое жильё, с прекрасным видом с балкончика, где можно сидеть вечерами! Все сделано стильно и со вкусом! Еду тоже заказывали у них, все было вкусно! Находится далековато от центра, в горах, зато какой вид! Дедушка Nimantha встретил нас со станции и также потом отвёз на 9 арочный мост. Спасибо за гостеприимство!

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und fuhren uns sogar für wenig Geld zu einem abgelegenen Wasserfall. Dort konnten wir schwimmen gehen und gut entspannen. Das Air BnB befindet sich in einer super Lage und die Stadt ist in maximal 5 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch bemerkenswert ist der Blick auf den vorbeifahrenden Zug. Das Zimmer an sich ist sehr Sauber übergeben worden und gut gepflegt. Leider ist es dort etwas feucht und etwas Schimmel setzt an den Wänden an. Insgesamt dennoch ein super Preisleistungsverhältnis und absolut ausreichend für ein bis zwei Nächte. Hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichen Gastgeber🙂

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

Poorna's villa was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and with all basic amenties. Host was extremely friendly, and extended help in whatever we requested for , instance arranged laundry services etc. Breakfast spread was decent with coconut roti, breads, egg, juices, fruits, coffee/ tea. Poorna's wife also showed us how they make Srilankan rotis. Overall fantastic stay and highly recommend family with kids.

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

Le fils de Vihanga a été très accueillant et sympathique. il a proposé de nous accompagner sur le début d'une randonnée pour nous montrer le chemin. Le logement était agréable et propre. très agréable endroit.

Fantastic location, although address is incorrectly listed (look at the map). Otherwise was a very easy check in and hosts were very accommodating

Super herzlicher Empfang. 🥰 Wir sind etwas früher als geplant angereist und somit war unser Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig. Es hat allerdings keine 10 Minuten gedauert und es war fertig und wir haben zur Begrüßung erst mal Tee & Kaffee bekommen. Wir haben einige Möglichkeiten genannt bekommen, welche wir besichtigen können. Jeden Morgen gab es unglaublich leckeres Frühstück und hatten einen tollen Ausblick genossen. Tolle 3 Nächte die wir verbringen durften. Vielen Dank dafür! 🥰

Fantastic view and friendly staff! We enjoy walking so the location was great for us, and it’s easy to take a tuk tuk if needed. The area is a bit noisy, there was construction going on during the day but we didn’t find it bothersome in the evenings so we could get rest. The breakfast is good, with fresh fruit and the omelette it was what we needed.

Thank you for such a beautiful stay in Ella. From the moment you picked us up everything was perfect. We loved staying at the Solitary retreat and wish we could have stayed longer. Dileepa was so attentive, sharing local recommendations and providing the most delicious breakfast. We would love to come back one day.

This was an amazing stay! The views from the rooms are superb, really beautiful. The room is very comfortable and good size, with a lovely balcony. The homecooked breakfast was amazing, very tasty and big portion. The location is perfect as it is a short 10 min walk into Ella but it is away from the busyness so very quiet and peaceful. Lilu is a great host. Very welcoming and friendly, with a lovely family. She was very helpful, even providing us with a pack up breakfast for our very early departure! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Unser Aufenthalt in Ella war magisch. Das verdanken wir auch dieser tollen Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage mit unvergleichlicher Aussicht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und das meiste fußläufig gemacht. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem Berg, weniger im Getümmel, was für uns perfekt war. Wenn man den Fußweg zur Stadtmitte von etwa 25 Minuten nicht in Kauf nehmen möchte, gibt es die Möglichkeit mit dem TukTuk zu fahren. Die Kommunikation mit Aruna war einwandfrei. Ein leckeres Frühstück ist inklusive und auch Abendessen gibt es zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das Zimmer war sauber und wir haben gemütlich geschlafen. Das Abreisen von diesem wunderschönen Ort fiel uns sehr schwer. Wenn wir nochmal nach Sri Lanka reisen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Definitiv die BESTE Unterkunft während unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte alles zu bieten, was wir benötigt haben. Der Strand und die Hauptstraße mit Geschäften und Restaurants waren in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Raffaella ist ein absolutes Unikat. Ihr Humor wird uns im Gedächtnis bleiben. Außerdem hat sie uns ein Dschungel BBQ mit Sudu vermittelt.. eine unglaubliche Erfahrung, die wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Danke Raffaella und Danke Sudu für diese unvergessliche Zeit :)
