Farmstay holiday rentals in Amsterdam

This was a wonderful hidden gem in the city. I felt like I was all alone in a secret garden, even though you’re surrounded by houses and in the city. Nico and Elizabeth were awesome hosts. So kind and helpful. I loved taking the bike out and around the city and to the beach. I had a wonderful 2 days and will be back for sure! Thank you both!

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. Absolutely Wonderful Stay at the Farm with Patries and Mike! We had the most amazing time staying at Patries and Mike’s farm. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Patries and Mike are truly exceptional hosts – warm, generous, and full of heart. You can feel how much love and care they put into their place and into every guest they welcome. The farm itself is a little slice of paradise. Surrounded by nature, animals, and peace, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, slow down, and reconnect with what really matters. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds – and especially the proud rooster announcing each new day with great enthusiasm! There’s a real sense of authenticity and warmth here that’s hard to put into words – you simply have to experience it. Thank you, Patries and Mike, for opening your hearts and your home to us. We left with full hearts, new inspiration, and the feeling that we had just spent time with old friends. We can’t wait to come back!

We were warmly welcomed and were able to go directly into the house. Riet lives right next door and was always available for questions. Everything was super clean and well appointed. The area was just fantastically beautiful . Plenty of space to stay indoors even in bad weather. We would come back.

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Very nice, beautiful and spacious stay. Nice and spacious living room, wonderful beds in the bedrooms and everything you need is present! Pine and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is a fifteen-minute drive from Bergen city center and less than half an hour from the beautiful beach. Nice to visit! Furthermore, you can relax at the cottage.

The accommodation at Jeanette and Rien is simply a dream and we were able to spend a few nice and relaxing days there. We were warmly welcomed and we also got eggs from the chickens :) On the terrace directly on the water, you can almost have the sun all day in good weather and you can enjoy nature in peace, fish and watch the sheep on the meadow opposite. After a short briefing, we were able to navigate the canal with the motorboat. The house has everything you need for everyday life and it was very clean. We would definitely like to come again.

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Our stay in this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoy the tranquility of the environment and its excellent situation to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very friendly and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations to see and how to move around the area. No doubt an experience we would not repeat. We definitely recommend this house.

We had a really great time at this place! The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. The yard was lovely to sit and relax and our dog enjoyed there as well especially with the goats, chickens and the owner's dog! It was a first time caravan experience and it is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Esther, Michel and their kids were extremely friendly, responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. We felt right at home :) Would visit again!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

A pretty little cottage in a quiet location with many extraordinary details! Large living room overlooking the fields. Well-equipped kitchen. Idyllic courtyard with BBQ and fire bowl, plus sandbox! One double bedroom is separate, the children's room right next to the living room. The upper room is on a gallery with sloping under the roof, but also very cozy. Many nearby getaways, we highly recommend Alkmaar! A holiday here is relaxing and varied! Many thanks to Leonel and Cor, who were always available and very friendly!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

We had a really great 5 days from Irma, the place is lovely and surrounded by nature. The location is strategic to reach many destinations to visit. Irma has always given us great tips for things to do! Our daughter is already asking to come back!

The reception was very warm and personal. We felt right at home. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and nothing was missing. A great terrace with a view of a dream garden completes the feel-good atmosphere. The terrace is completely fenced, which makes a stay with a dog totally relaxing. We will be happy to come back.

Fantastic house. Well equipped and everything you need in the kitchen. House was quiet and private with a great feel to it. Would strongly recommend. Illonka greeted us and made sure we were comfortable. We couldn’t asked for more

Great location surrounded by beauty. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided local recommendations. Just enough distances from the city if you want to check out Amsterdam or the beach, both about 40-55 minute drive depending on traffic. House had everything we need. Great fenced yard with view of canal.

The apartment in Noordwijk was perfect for our stay! It is very clean, cozy and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. The location is great, the city center and the beach are easy to reach by bike, and bikes are even directly available. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly. Overall, a great accommodation for a relaxing holiday on the Dutch coast – we'd love to come back!

Karin's stay was great. Everything was neatly clean and as described in the advertisement. The beach is a 30-minute walk away. First through the forest and then through the beautiful dunes. Shops are easy to reach. In short, we enjoyed and I will definitely recommend Karin's accommodation.

We had a really enjoyable time staying in Annemarie and Dirk’s cottage. It was well positioned for our day excursions and having bikes available to use was a highlight. On Annemarie’s advice we caught the ferry to dinner and biked home along canals - magic! Great hosts who helped us wirh our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

Delightfully enjoyed the tranquility! If you want to do something elsewhere, Joyce knew enough to tell you about the area. Top facilities for maximum relaxation. All in all a super location and host! Certainly subject to repetition.
