Beachfront holiday rental in Anchor Bay

Good place to stay for our annual show trip Into town! Close to where we needed to be and good places to eat! The lake is beautiful and helps to relax after a long day. We loved watching the wild life too!

We came in from out of state for a concert at Ford Field and prefer a pet friendly home over an apartment or cramped city space. This place met our needs and offered us a comfortable, safe and peaceful place to stay. Many thanks!

I had a wonderful stay and greatly enjoyed my time at Veronica’s place. She was very responsive and kind enough to accommodate a change in my check-in date, though I ultimately didn’t need it. The apartment provided a warm and comfortable stay during Michigan’s freezing winter, along with a good view of the river. One of the electric circuits went down during my stay, but Veronica quickly sent someone to fix it, which I truly appreciated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely book again the next time I’m in town.

House has a nice layout. Kitchen layout good (sometimes 4 of us were working on there) Good selection of tea. Bedding and storage great. Bathroom was serviceable with storage and cool towel warmer. Dishes for four people but lots (12?) of mugs and glasses. Nice, friendly neighbors (on both sides) have dogs which our dogs found entertaining :) our dogs also enjoyed the back yard (nice grass and squirrels), walks in the neighborhood as well as visits to dog park nearby. We were charmed by the swans and their offspring up the street. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. View across lake included a few houses but mostly wooded park. Peaceful. Would stay there again. Very convenient access to Kroger, Alex gourmet market, Home Depot, Stella’s (excellent restaurant) and charming Clarkston. I suggest bringing some throw blankets for the leather furniture.

Beautiful place with a stunning lake view! We had a great time kayaking and relaxing by the water. The home was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The host was very responsive whenever we had questions or needed assistance. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, would definitely stay again!

Second time staying here. Loved both times! This time was for our Anniversary, and Jen went above and beyond to make it extra special. She and Rex are always friendly, and sweet people. The place is spotless, and well appointed. Will definitely come back again!

Very nice home with a beautiful view. The house was clean, spacious, and had all necessities and amenities myself and my group could need. The location on the lake was perfect. No noise from the road or lake, it made the back deck a great place to relax during the day, or sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Chris was accommodating, attentive, responsive and a great host. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is easily one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The place was beautiful, had all listed amenities, and was in a great location. Has views of the river and is close to several great downtown Sarnia restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarnia!

This house was very clean, well equipped and organized. The environment was very peaceful and friendly. Craig was definitely the kind of owner we would love to have at any Airbnb. We would definitely considerating doing business with him and using his home in the future. Also the rate was great for a 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bath. Thank you.

It’s a very nice place to stay, right on the water with beach access from the backyard. The cottage is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. I like to cook and there was a great selection of everything you need to make use of the kitchen and feel right at home. The beds were also very comfortable. The view was lovely, and the environment very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it!

Jeremy's house was a wonderful place to stay. The backyard and the beach were beautiful and spacious! The location was very close to other nearby beaches such as Grand Bend. We really enjoyed the vibe of the house and there was everything we needed at the Airbnb! My group and I would highly recommend this Airbnb and if given the opportunity we would love to come back!

This was definitely home away from home! The area was very peaceful with beautiful views, we had everything we needed and is perfect if you have children! Plenty to keep the kiddos busy and having fun while you enjoy your time too. It was hard to leave! 10/10 recommend staying here with family!

From the second we walked through the door it felt like home. Everything was thought through down to any question you would need answered. It was a bit cold during our visit, but we were still able to make a fire and have smores. Having the option to take the kayaks out was incredible. This house was so cozy and beautiful, we are already planning another trip back. Thank you for making our stay seamless!

Jemima's place offered a perfect retreat from the usual hustle and bustle. This well-maintained home is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized, with ample space to comfortably accommodate 2-3 families. The backyard transitions into a charming mini lakefront. Here, guests can relax on the bench or gather around the fireplace, enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks in a serene setting. While previous reviews mentioned train noise, I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't an issue during our stay. We experienced peaceful sleep throughout our visit. The house's cleanliness, spaciousness, and tranquil lakefront setting make it an ideal getaway. I would definitely return given the opportunity and highly recommend it to others seeking a quiet, well-appointed retreat.

Wish we had more time to relax there but the time we had was so peaceful. Having a morning coffee, sitting out along the lake on the dock, Premium. My only issue was that train. I'm a light sleeper. I heard any that went by. Didn't seem to bother my wife.

I had a fantastic stay at [Host's Namel's place! The home was exactly as described - clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The check-in process was smooth and communication with the host was easy and friendly. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Wonderful place to stay. My whole family loved it we can’t wait to go back. And all the beds are amazing. Location was great close enough to town for food delivery. But far enough away for a peaceful stay. Beautiful lakefront home gorgeous views. This place has everything you need or want to have a great stay. I highly recommend. And the host are so friendly down to earth kind of people. We look forward to staying in there home again.
