A hiking trail to Gangsåstoppen starts 50 meters from the apartment. This 30 minute trip is recommended to all. There you get an amazing view of the city and the surrounding islands. The cabin is located by a river and water. The canoe can be used freely if you want to paddle in the river. Kjerringnesvannet is salmon-bearing water and you can fish in the water if you buy a fishing license. The cabin is located in the forest with lots of great hiking areas near the cabin and around Vesterålen.

Right by secluded beach facing spectacular mountains, perfect for hiking, fishing or just slow living under the midnight sun or northern lights. Wood-fired sauna (extra cost) and two small canoes (not in use autumn/winter) for guests. Several design classics from the 1960's and selected personal objects give the house a distinct look and atmosphere.
