Cottage holiday rentals in Andújar

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here en route through Spain. The staff were so accommodating and lovely. Nothing was too much bother. The food was lovely and they were so accepting and accommodating with our Ridgeback Delilah. We would definitely return if we do the road trip again.

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

A charming house, spacious facilities, and a large swimming pool for spending a few days relaxing as a family. We have had a great time and hope to do it again.

A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

Javier is a great host. Always available if need it. Provided great detailed information about the house, location and things to do in the area. We loved our stay and can’t wait to comeback soon.

A very good area for vacationing

Simply put, we spent a few days in the paradise. The accommodation is an ideal place in the middle of nature to disconnect, but very close to the City. Totally recommended. Gregorio a super host.

Excellent stay! We were attending a tiring trade show and at the house we felt really relaxed and at home - better than any hotel could be.

Private villa to relax! We went in winter but still amazing setting just not warm enough to enjoy the pool. Alcaudette is a great town with lots of shops and places to eat and drink, but a ride out gets into mountains and olive trees, car a must, but happily spend the time chilling on the terrace. Hope to go back soon as we have friends living locally

David from the beginning to the end I take care that we were at home. The place is in a rural setting, without any danger, ideal for families with children and pets. Note that the accommodation was clean and with everything you need for a coexistence of 10. Let's repeat!

The house is very well equipped and very clean. The photos on the website don't do justice to the reality because it surpasses them. All bedrooms have their own bathroom. It is a charming place in the middle of nature. The hosts were very attentive and helpful from the start. A highly recommended accommodation.

The house is very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms, all with its bathroom. Spacious kitchen with lots of utensils. Very manicured decor. The terrace with the bbq grill is appreciated. To put some sticks, a wider living/dining room would be missing, it's a bit fair.

The house was in the heart of the Sierra, a wonderful enclave to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Being a farm/livestock farm, it had nearby cows, horses and donkeys, always fenced and with fences, but it is a wonderful attraction for children. It has several routes inside the estate, which is wonderful. The house is distributed in two rooms, on the one hand the room area. Each room has a bathroom inside, which is super comfortable. Fabulous beds. There it has a small but cozy living room. The other building is the living-dining room. Which was great for dividing rooms. The pool was in another area, which is great also to not be all together. Also in the courtyard outside there were plugs for the princess/iron. A lot is taken advantage of!!

This is an ideally located place to visit Andalusia. The village is beautiful, but early July is the off-season, and 2 out of 4 restaurants were closed, as well as the folk art museum. It was finally at the archaeological museum in front of the castle that we were able to get information and help. The house is very comfortable and spacious enough for 10 people. The listing may suggest that there is no hot water but there is! The pool is very private. The living room and 4 bedrooms are air-conditioned which is a real plus. David is a very responsive host, and Antonio, who welcomed us on site and took care of the pool maintenance during our stay, was very friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

The house is very nice, great for large groups. It's very spacious, bigger than it looks in the photos, and is perfectly equipped with everything you need (towels, sheets, various utensils in the kitchen...), maybe the oven a little small but can be used without problems. A very quiet area, no noise is heard. Paqui has been a wonderful host, always at our disposal. It's been a complete success.
