Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Anglesey

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Great little cabin, cosy especially with the heater and nice to have the microwave/kettle/toaster to make things a bit easier. The facilities at the campsite were good and there was a nice atmosphere with lots of character. Easy access to coastal walking which is why I was there. Mattresses were comfy and it was nice to have the picnic bench out front. The only downside for me is that the hot water requires coins - Pete made this very clear in advance but I sadly lost my wallet with my 20p in so didn't sample the hot showers. Personally I would prefer to pay £1 extra per day on the booking and not have the hassle of coins. Value for money with 4 occupants would be excellent.

We loved every minute of our stay. Just big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We loved being outside in the private garden, watching the sea with a glass of wine. The dog loved it too, it was very safe and secure. 45mins flat walk, into the town of Barmouth, via the useful instructions left by Hayley. We ate at Dylans (15mins walk, turn right on the main road) and Bay View (6mins walk turn left on the main road) would recommend both, we didn't book and got a table but I would think you'd need to book during high season. Fantastic stay and we will definitely book to come back.

Had a great couple of nights in this Hut. so much so that we wanted to book an extra night or two but there was no availability. Can't wait for our next visit. great location! so senic and peaceful. Signed was fantastic, super quick to respond to any messages. This is a little Gem and definitely worth a visit.

We had an amazing stay at erw Glamping, everything was clean and very cosy. We loved using the fire heatet hot tub. The only point I would note is that I wish on the listing it was noted that only a certain amount of wood would be provided. In the future I would bring my own wood as there wasn’t enough provided to heat up the hot tub for the entirety of our stay and to make use of the fire pit. But all in all, had a lovely time. The hut was just as described and you could tell a lot of thought had been put into everything and it was all premium quality. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath and super cosy bed! It's in a quiet area with little to do nearby, perfect if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

We had a gorgeous time relaxing and recharging at the gorgeous shepherd’s hut. The pictures don’t do justice to how secluded and peaceful the space is - we felt like we were the only people in the world! Sian and her family were an absolute delight, so friendly and welcoming as well as being flexible. They allowed us to stay all day as they had no one in the day we were leaving, and were very flexible with a lasts minute request. Very informative on the local area but also left us to enjoy it. The place is definitely an outdoor vibe and therefore don’t expect complete polished luxury, but you have everything you need it’s very cute and at one with nature. The experience more than makes up for it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Thank you!

Great little hideaway

Loved our stay here the local scenery was breath taking and we loved the fire pit and hot tub only a 2 night break but fully recharged ready for busy few months at work will definitely come again

Ian's place is very charming and it was perfect for our stay in Wales. Ian had baked a cake for us, which was extremely sweet of him, and communication with him was truly excellent. We unfortunately had to cut our trip a bit short, but next time we come to this part of Wales, I'd definitely love to come back to Ian's place and hopefully meet him in person!

Alanna was great with communication. The hut was lovely, clean and tidy. We were extremely happy with the beds, they were the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in away from home. Loved being near the sheep they were so cute. Even though the weather was rainy it was so cosy to have Netflix and just really chill out for the night. I will 100% be back and have already recommended it to friends and family. The personalised welcome sign was a lovely touch. Easy check in and easy to find. Fantastic homely property, clean functional and private. Very well designed and really nicely set up. Shame we couldn’t use the log burner more as it was warm enough but bunkered down on a cold night it would be romantic and a great focal point. We fired it up once and the hut was well toasty. Thank you and hopefully stay another time soon.

Me and my daughter had a lovely weekend here. The hut was perfect, with fabulous facilities. My daughter loved playing outside and seeing the horses and donkeys. It's in a great location, would definitely recommend to anyone.

had a fab stay. was set in a beutiful setting and the hut itself was stunning. sitting outside with a morning cuppa, hearing the stream go past just rounded off a perfect stay. will definitely be back and make the most of a longer stay next time thats for sure. Thanks Again. :-D

Carol and her gorgeous hut were amazing, the place was spotless, had everything it said it did and Carol made it easy to find with her instructions. There were lovely things for us on arrival to make us comfortable and stocked. Surroundings were beautiful, hot tub was fabulous. It was all a really good stay! One day the weather was rubbish and another was glorious and the place was perfect for both those days so can’t fault it! Would 100% come again

From when we received the clear check-in instructions to the second we opened the door, it was obvious Ruby is a top-tier host. Her place is immaculate, thoughtfully set up, and packed with little extras that made our stay feel special—and all at a fantastic price. The room had everything we needed and more: USBs included in the wall sockets, a smart TV with its own dedicated Airbnb Netflix account, and even a mindful jigsaw puzzle—perfect for the rainy day we ended up with. It’s those thoughtful details that really set Ruby’s place apart. On top of that, Ruby and her partner were incredibly warm and chatty, offering genuinely helpful advice on the best spots around town—local knowledge that actually made a difference to our trip. And their dog was adorable. He popped out a few times to say hi to us all and it melted our hearts. Such a sweet pup! We felt totally at home and really hope they'll have us return to our favourite place again soon :-)

We had an excellent stay here! the hut was extremely clean and tidy, and so was the bathroom. It was easy to find thanks to the detailed description and was very peaceful.

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

Amazing hosts and beautiful scenery, so lovely and welcoming! Responded quickly and were very helpful! The freshly baked Welsh cakes were just divine, we were obsessed! Would recommend and will hopefully be back soon ! 🩷

We had the most wonderful time at this little gem of a place The scenery is beautiful 😍 so stunning Lovely walks around the area that have breathtaking views. Peace and quiet was lovely at night and such comfy beds we slept so well. Garden was brilliant for our little yorkie and was secure so we were confident she couldnt run off to see the sheep! The host communication was perfect so helpful and friendly. Processco on arrival was such a wondeful treat we sat drinking while watching the cows grazing We explored the local area Dolgoch falls were stunning. I couldnt fault anything and can't wait to return
