Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

Shepherd's Rest

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay.
