We had a great time at Jean’s house. The place is spacious and very beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the swimming pool was very clean. The garden is well kept, with lots of beautiful plants, trees, and shrubs. Highly recommended!

Very nice house. The heated pool, spa and outbuilding are obviously big pluses! Quiet environment and very close to the ocean.

Sophie was waiting for us, welcomed us warmly with delicious Basque cake and explanations about the house and some cultural facts about the Basque language, restaurants, markets and sights. Our home is an ideal place for those who love peace and nature and enjoy hiking. Places such as the Rhune, Bayonne, Biarritz, even San Sebastián are all easily accessible by car and, if desired, partly by public transport. The house is very quietly located at the end of a side road where no traffic passes; it is located at a height so you have a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. Comfort as described on the site is present.

Sandra was a fantastic host greeting us by producing lovely meat, cheese, wine and beer in the bar area. She was contactable throughout our stay and has been helpful sorting out something for me since we left. The property is amazing with 5 bedrooms and several bathrooms/WCs. We used the pool and hot tub every day along with the games room containing a pool table and bar with a fridge and dishwasher. The rear garden is huge and the is a petanque court and table tennis table. There is generous outside space to eat (there were 9 of us) helped by a good sized gas bbq. The kitchen has loads of space with many of the cupboards full of items to be used. The nearest supermarkets (Intermarche & Carrefour) are both a few minutes drive with Carrefour offering low costs fuel. It is a relatively short drive to Bayonne which is a lovely town astride a river with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops with pretty good car parks available. Overall a lovely villa with a fantastic host.

We had such a lovely stay. Suzie and Emeric were amazing hosts - incredibly flexible and helpful. The place is even nicer than the photographs. Just renovated, incredibly comfortable - really well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for the restaurants and beaches in Bidart and Guethary. We would love to come again.

Very beautiful house with a nice garden perfectly fenced for dogs, ideal for organizing nice evenings ( nice barbecue) and heated pool! The residential area allows pleasant walks. The beaches are twenty minutes away, all breathtaking! A car is necessary to get around. Great experience! Thank you.

Good stay in Biarritz at Eugenie's, who is a friendly host. Her apartment is charming and practical, nothing is missing. The decoration is nice, which contributes to a zen atmosphere. The city center is a 25-minute walk away and access to private parking is a plus in this city where there are no free parking spaces. I recommend Eugenie's apartment. Benoît.

Peaceful and beautiful location close to supermarket, bus stops beaches and the city. The Apartment was Spacious and the kitchen was well equipt. Patrice was available at all times and was interested in any feedback on his apartment.

We really enjoyed the welcome from our host Olivier who remains available throughout the stay with very useful recommendations on restaurants, outings, visits. The house is ideally located near a bus stop in a quiet area without overlooking. It is very clean, functional and fully equipped (there is even a foosball table). In short, we had a great time.

This is a lovely apartment in a very special place. Really cosy and comfortable with wonderful buildings all around. Great bars and restaurants on the doorstep too. Alvaro was really helpful getting us settled and providing lots of tips on the locality. He helped us find a parking spot and took us to the apartment - you have to park your car a few minutes away. Parking is scarce so once parked we didn’t move the car. Not a problem as we were only here a couple of nights and everything is walkable. Highly recommended.

We had a really nice family holiday at Annie's place. The house and town are perfect for hiking in the area and short day trips to e.g. San Sebastian and to the sea. We've enjoyed it very much.

Imagine a peaceful haven in the heart of the authentic Basque Country... imagine in this peaceful haven a top apartment... Modern and hyper-functional kitchen, 3 bedrooms with top bedding, 2 bathrooms including one with bathtub and shower... fridge, freezer, induction hob and a terrace with table and bench and mountain views... and all this 15 minutes from the highway access, 10 minutes from a large area and 30 minutes from the ocean... Well, with great weather, we had a fantastic stay.

A traditional building in the old quarter but the flat itself was very modern and in excellent taste. The old town was fascinating but the newer streets towards the Marina were also lively. Great recommendations for eating out and we tried most of them.

Our stay went very well. The accommodation was very comfortable, the bedding was good quality and we didn't miss anything. Everything was impeccable in terms of cleaning. Many services were available to us, many things provided such as towels, bathrobes, shower gel, or for breakfast such as milk, fruit juice, jam, honey in addition to coffee or tea! We enjoyed the balcony for eating outside. It was also very convenient to park the car at the foot of the accommodation. We enjoyed our independent stay. Sylvie and her husband are very welcoming and attentive while being discreet. The proximity of the highway did not bother us in terms of noise. We would recommend this listing!

We spent a wonderful week at Olivia's place in August. The place is amazing, with that great "old French country house" feel but with plenty of modern amenities. We took full advantage of the large kitchen and the pool in the backyard. We also used the dishwasher and washing machine multiple times. The house is located in the small village of Ahetze, which was exactly what we wanted. Very quiet, but also very easy to drive to the beaches on the coast, out into the Basque countryside, or over the border to San Sebastian and Bilbao. There's a large parking area in front of the house as well. Olivia was a fantastic host - incredibly communicative, friendly and helpful. Overall, it was one of our favorite AirBnb houses that we've ever stayed in. We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful vacation in this dream house. It all starts with the communication with the owner, which was impeccable. She always responded quickly and always took care of all our concerns. The house itself is beautiful, modern and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and almost all have their own showers. There is also a play area, with table tennis, table soccer and billiards. The kitchen is large and offers everything you need. The highlight is of course the pool, which is very well maintained. The neighborhood is also great: A quiet neighborhood with friendly people and within walking distance to the beach. We had a wonderful time and would come back any time.

I rent houses on a regular basis. Lynn and Kristoff house is on of the best rental I have experienced in terms of location, quality of house and friendliness of the owners. We were 8 adults renting the house for 5 days and we were all unanimous about this wonderful house. Everything was perfect. This house will exceed anybody’s expectations. Congratulations!! 👏👏

We had a pleasant stay, Charles was welcoming and available, the accommodation was as described. The wooded garden, terrace and pool are the highlights of the house. Recommended

We had a wonderful week at this lovely place, full of 70s charm. Everything has its own style — slightly dated, but very well maintained and in great condition. We stayed with four children under the age of two, and they truly had the time of their lives. The garden is a highlight, with both sunny and shady spots under beautiful old trees — perfect for little explorers. The pool was still a bit cool at this time of year, but ideal for a refreshing dip. We also brought a small baby pool, which worked perfectly for the toddlers. There’s a barbecue, and the location is fantastic: great for walks, stroller-friendly, and just a 15-minute walk to the beach with 2 nice beach restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

I think the Villa was great for families . Big living area outside terraces, garden and swimming pool. Set slightly away from the main bar and restaurant area but a very short walk to the beach it was peaceful at night. Air con was a big plus when the temp reached 31 degrees. Francois was super helpful and responsive to all our requests. All in all a great place to stay.
