Cottage holiday rentals in Angola on the Lake

This was a phenomenal stay! The house was clean and well stocked (e.g. toilet paper, soap, dishes, etc.). The rooms were as posted in the photos, so there were no surprises! Vu was a very responsive and helpful host. When we had trouble with the hot tub, he came down right away and checked the water for us. As a suggestion for those visiting, if you are sensitive to pool chemicals, you should run the hot tub for one cycle before getting in. There were some spatulas that were unclean in the drawer, but this was not of big concern to us as it might have just been missed while cleaning. Location wise, it’s walkable to Crystal Beach and it has some cute shops along the way! Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

The place was incredibly accommodating for the group of 8 of us !! We had a great time hanging out in the backyard and between the kitchen and dining table with the open concept. The place was tidy, clean, and all the amenities were as advertised — would definitely stay again!

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

Lennie's place is an absolute Jem. The place is fabulous, with breathtaking lake and beach views from almost anywhere in the house. The deck is such an oasis and literally a few steps away from the amazing Wyldewood beach. One of the best beaches I've been in the area, with amazing amenities within the premises. From groceries shop, great selection of food trucks, onsite restaurant, bar, arcade, watrepark, mini golf and a long etc. Lenni keeps the place prestine and super equipped with anything you could possible need to make your stay comfortable. A highlight was the private golf cart. This made our stay not only super convenient but very fun to move around and explore all the great things the premises have to offer. Communication with Lennie was outstanding! She was super quick to reply, always willing to address all my questions and proactively providing guidance on how to move around, and make good use of the house and entire premises. I can't wait to come back!!!

Mandy’s place and Sherkston Shores are amazing! Mandy was so responsive and made everything easy about our stay! The cottage is beautiful, steps from the beach, and has everything you’d ever need! We will be back!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

We stayed at one of Lauren's place at Sherkston a few years ago, and it was such a great time that we knew we wanted to come back again. Same great experience, the kids had a blast. I was asking a ton of questions throughout the stay that even I annoyed myself with, but Laura was very prompt, patient and polite each time. Will come back again in the future!

We were looking for a retreat for Memorial Day that would keep our toddler busy but offer a peaceful setting, free of crowns for our newborn and Erica’s place fit the bill exactly! The property looked even better in real life than in the photos. The place was stocked with amenities. Every time we said “I forgot XYZ” it was available in the house including: bug spray, firewood, marshmallow sticks, coffee thermos, wine, and more! I’ve never stayed at a place that had so much available. The spring water provided in the dispenser was very helpful, especially with little ones. Our toddler enjoyed looking for salamanders and frogs, splashing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, and bird watching. Cracking the bedroom windows provided the perfect white noise from the creek. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy coffee while soaking in all the nature. We also enjoyed the Amish trail, Ellicottville Brewing, and pastries from Early Bird Ranch. A perfect family staycation!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the water. We especially enjoyed our morning walks around the area and looking at all the homes and our dog especially loved running on the small beach area. Beach is Dog friendly till 10am and after 5pm. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! We had a fantastic stay at Shane’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and had so much character, especially the fun and thoughtful touches showing his love for the Bills. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and the neighborhood was peaceful and convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area. Thanks again, Shane, for being a great host!

WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

The Crystal Cottage is such an amazing place! Anne Marie and Norm are such wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to everything and is still very quiet an peaceful. The local people are also fantastic and make guests feel welcome. I highly recommend the Crystal Cottage to other guests and will be back for sure!

A great place to stay! We enjoyed the space and found that we were never overcrowded with 9 people and a dog. The cottage was even more beautiful than the pictures show and the A/C was a great amenity! The host was amazing, welcoming and accommodating! It was so close to the little town with shops and restaurants! We will for sure be back! Totally worth the price!

A great couple of days! From the phone call a couple of days, Jeff was proactive to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Very well situated - easy walk to restaurants and the beach as well as to access the Friendship Trail for biking. Comfortable beds too. Slept great. Thanks, Jeff!

Charming, updated older beach cottage. Really enjoyed the place. Family of six adults was very comfortable. Only thing we missed were sharp knives and oven mitts. Everything else in the kitchen was equipped so we could cook meals. Very pretty Lake view. Very small towns and not much else to do. We spent our time in Niagara Falls and Niagara on the lakes. Great homebase, though if you want a relaxing Lakeside retreat. Really appreciated the cozy blankets and space heaters. Beds and pillows comfortable.

This was a great location, with a wonderful lot on Lake Erie. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were very happy with the accommodations and would reserve again.

My inlaws and I had a great 3 night stay at this location! We visited the local wineries and Niagara falls! Perfect location, and a beautiful outdoor area and plenty of room for us 4. We got to see hummingbirds from the deck too!

This was a nice place to stay. It was well decorated and furnished. The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. The river nearby was beautiful scenery and had a nice walking path right next to it. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit the area or Niagara Falls.

This lovely cottage was full of thoughtful touches. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and the living area spacious. The location is peaceful and yet lively restaurants and the beach are only a 10 minute walk away. I especially appreciated being a little away from the beach on an extremely busy long weekend. This is perfect place to stay for a summer cottage getaway in Crystal Beach.
