Killeavy Cottage

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great stay, the location was amazing with stunning views in the heart of the countryside but not far from amenities in Newry. The cottage was lovely, we felt right at home and was spotlessly clean. The hot tub was a fab edition, wish we could have stayed longer! Glenn’s communication was great, gave us all the information we needed before our stay. Would definately recommend and we would love to come back!

Tosses Cottage | Cosy, Quirky & Secluded + Hot Tub

PeterRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Words cant describe how wonderful this place was. It feels a miracle that money could buy an experience like that. Stargazing in the hot tub, talking to the beautiful cows, drinking the wonderful prosecco provided and looking at all the family photos and history of the cottage, reading through the guestbook. I'd come back a thousand times if I could. Thank you so much.

An art and garden lover's hideaway

AlanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mike was an excellent communicator from the start and very accommodating regarding our arrival time. He met us in person and is a very friendly and helpful host. His home made bread was delicious. His home cinema system is amazing with a fantastic selection of great films to watch on a large screen. The house is very well appointed and benefits from great natural light regardless of which room you are in. The garden, its shrubs, plants and flowers is amazing. A beautiful setting and the bird song is absolutely fantastic. The hot tub is a welcome additional if you want to relax in the beautiful garden with a glass of wine and take in the glorious views and garden. A very relaxing and peaceful stay in very homely accommodation. Mike is in the adjacent house if you need him but you have the feeling you are there all alone. Superb location if attending a wedding or other function at Tullyveery House. You just walk 500yards up the main drive. Perfect ,quiet location for a couple.

Despite the poor weather we had a great time at the Gate House. Chris was very friendly and helpful explaining all we needed to know to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We loved the hot tub, even in the pouring rain! We hope to return in the future.

Country Cottage in an area of outstanding beauty

JillianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay with Margaret and again we felt right at home! Her beautiful house is spotless. It's a lovely location and plenty to see and do in the county and beyond. Secure garden for our collie who got to know the gorgeous horses that would come up and say hello at the fence! Thanks again Margaret!

200 year old Coastguard cottage.

DaraRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Steen was a great host, fast to reply to questions and very helpful with regards to things to do in the area. The cottage is lovely, so cosy and really nicely decorated, comfy beds, nice linens and modern bathroom. The whole place was very clean and there were nice little touches for guests. It has absolutely everything you could want for a stay, we really couldn't fault anything. Whilst we didn't use it, the little annex out the back is charming, a great addition. The location is great, just across the road from the beach for lovely early morning walks or after dinner, we were lucky enough to have great weather so we were able to walk the dogs on the beach up until 10pm last night. There's a petrol station/shop about 5 minutes away that can provide basics if needed. The garden is worth a mention, planted with lovely bee friendly plants with 2 or 3 little areas to sit and have a glass of wine or dinner. Really secure for the dogs as well. We will definitely be back again.

Ballyhornan Cottage

NicolaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our 3rd stay at this property as a family of 5. Our kids love the garden, so much free space to run around and the climbing frame/swings/treehouse are great. We love Ballyhornan beach and the coffee hut there. House was clean and well equipped as always. Jane very quick to respond to a small issue we had, and resolved this very quickly. We will be back again

Ramblers Cottage Idyllic Mourne Mountains retreat

GarethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Danielle's place was perfect, exactly as it is in the photos and situated in the perfect location for exploring the Mournes region. Danielle was a very friendly host and on learning that myself and my wife were on our honeymoon she provided a lovely card and a bottle of prosecco to help us celebrate. Would definitely return for a visit and will recommend to my friends.

We had a fantastic stay at Clonlum Cottages! The cottage was spotless and very well kept. The location is beautiful with amazing views, and it was perfect for our hike. The hot tub was a highlight – extremely lovely to use after a long day out. The host was friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

The Bath House & Sauna Garden - 2b Bath Lane

BarryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Kathy was a wonderful host very attentive and thoughtful offering tips and things to do locally. Check in / out was seamless. The House is pristine and beautifully decorated perfectly adequate in size for 4 people sharing. The Sauna and outdoor bath / wet area is a lovely bonus feature. We hiked in the Mournes in terrible weather but had the luxury of warming up and getting a sweat on in the sauna before heading into Newcastle for the evening. Overall highly recommend 😇
