Charming location, wonderful house and super helpful hosts! Mrs. Marianna was very kind and super quick to respond, right from the time of booking. He gave me clear and precise directions on how to get to the accommodation and, once we arrived, we were greeted by Mr. Paolo. Both were open and very helpful in providing advice of all kinds. The house and its garden are very well maintained and well stocked: the house is clean and equipped with linen that seemed new and certainly well sanitized - both for bed and bath. A very welcome plus was the breakfast: the hosts provided us with delicious home-made pastries, as well as various breakfast products (various types of brioche, biscuits, jams, tea and coffee, etc.). In the house, there are brochures, in various languages, with various information on places to visit, events, restaurants and much more. Highly recommended, we will certainly be back!

We spent 4 days with the family in Rafaella's house. It was his daughter, Chiara, who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay. Chiara was extraordinarily kind and caring. She patiently guided us on our journey so that we could enjoy the beauty of Tuscany. Attentive and responsive, Chiara was much more than just a contact, she brightened our stay and it is largely thanks to her that it was so pleasant. The villagers are charming and polite and you can get some groceries in the village grocery store (run by a cousin of Rafaella) The only difficulty we faced was the language barrier. But with a little French, a little Spanish, a few words of Italian and gestures, we can still make ourselves understood. Casa di Bruna is ideally located for various excursions (Cinque Terre, Pisa, La Spezia, etc.) We recommend this property. Chris

We had the most amazing stay at Micaela! She was the warmest, most welcoming host, had patience with us and all of our questions, and made our stay happy and relaxing. The house was amazing and well equipped and the mountains around us breathtaking! Thank you Micaela and family!!!

The stay with Alessandro and Diego was very nice. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped (also with salt, pepper, oil, etc.), in the bathroom there was shampoo and shower gel, generally plenty of space,…. Regarding the location: you can't reach much on foot, but that doesn't bother us, as we always travel by car. Supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, the nearest beach about 15-20 minutes, … It should be mentioned that of 11 nights, 2-3 evenings (maybe 8-11 pm) military exercises were done on the nearby military grounds, which was already very loud (helicopter). Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. All around you can see numerous hills, in the garden you can enjoy the sunset and cook / grill really well with the great grill and oven outside. Mark was very kind in providing me with a small aperitif upon my arrival, which I enjoyed. I found the apartment very well maintained, from the living room, to the kitchen and the bedroom. It was an experience sleeping in the tower.

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

Anna was an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success even though it was only a 1 night stay. She was so kind as to also organise a collection to her place and then drive us to the station herself the very next day. The accommodation was beautiful and extremely tasteful in its styling and appearance in every way. In addition it was also remarkably clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings.
